Ibis Marrakech Palmeraie

Pros +

• Away from the centre of town
• Swimming pool and food was nice.
• Happy peaceful and clean environment. Friendly staff could communicate with us in English though the local languages are Arabic and French. Free breakfast was warm fresh and tasty.

Cons -

• Clogged shower drain in the bathroom - small bathroom, very noisy
• Noise - did not sleep all holiday, asked for a quite room no smoking, got a no smoking room on a corridor full of smoking rooms, people was smoking in the bar so everywhere you went stunk of smoke back to the noise placed on a main road asked to move and got told we couldnt cars beeping constantly all night and dogs barking had to sleep with window open as we got told there is no air con only heating, but its Morocco it was hot! Sleep at night is horrendous what is a shame because the beds are comfy. The rooms are awfully decorated for an ibis hotel that was quite disappointing, bird poo all over the lounges outside looks like they dont get clean regular again shame about the outside is because it is pretty and the pool is nice - staff in the hotel bar and restaurant are really helpful maybe the people on reception should take a leaf out of there book! if we got moved to a quite room and they separate the smoking and none smoking to same floors maybe it would be worth the money you pay but I wouldnt stay agin after my experience!
