- There’s only 2 hotels in Iisalmi. This is recently renovated quite nicely and other one is quite strange.
Cons -
- The sound proofing of the hotel is not the greatest. You can hear what other people are up to as well if you happen to get the room that faces the street, you’ll have to use the air plugs in order to get sleep - there are a ton of youngsters during the night who speed up and down the road with their motorbikes revving their engines.
- If all the food types were near each other and generally more space around the food stations .During our evening meal, we had to wait long time for our food to arrive..
- Hotel is under construction and did not have lift. No cot available for toddlers. Really outdated. No help from staff so had to struggle to third floor with luggage and one year old.

There’s only 2 hotels in Iisalmi. This is recently renovated quite nicely and other one is quite strange.
Good size room. Bed was nice and big. Breakfast was tasty and there was a good options for gluten free and dairy free diet.

It is always a pleasure to stay here, staff are friendly, hotel is great and clean with good rooms
It is always a little noisy with sounds from the street, especially in winter, snow ploughs make a great deal of noise from very early. A little disappointed that the food menu has changed and not for the better. There is less choice and quality does seem to have dropped but it is still very good in comparison to many hotels I stay in
