Comfort Hotel Skelleftea

The room was comfortable and the staff was very nice. The parking was underground and free up to 9 o’clock am.

The space from bed to wall was a bit too narrow.

Great hotel with brilliant staff. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Would have been nicer to have a room with a window.The sauna in the basement was spacious and nicely hot, with gender specific sections.Definitely planning to book again

We really appreciated the breakfast and the team was very supportive to create a vegan / plant based breakfast for me.

The room was more like a prison cell, no window, very narrow toilet where getting seated was a challenge.

It’s very central, and they had sauna facility in the basement, which was nice.

The bathroom was very small and the plastic sliding screen into the shower was broken (in first hotel room), they changed me over to another hotel room after I complained two evenings in a row that the hotel room I was put in first didn’t have proper working wifi (the signal was unstable and kept cutting out), and the tv wasn’t working, they fixed the tv after the first night but they couldn’t fix the wifi so they moved me. The breakfast was ok ish, but some items were not so great, like they had digestives for example that had gone stale and was a bit soggy. Same with some “crispy” bread, the sausages and scrambled eggs were not amazing but they did have very tasty pancakes and nice yoghurts and cold drinks Also they didn’t have a hotel gym but you had to cross the street and use a small commercial gym on other side and pay a small fee of 30 kronor or something to use, which also had a sauna

Room on the 4th floor with very poor ventilation, with no air flow in the room and bathroom. I complained in the reception, with the standard answer " we will look into it"...

Very good stay! Superb stay. Very good beds. Great view from the windows out over the park and the river. And great lounge - really nice to sit there. Recommend!

Reception staff were very kind and willing to help. Room was comfortable and restarant & bar were pretty. Very close to the city center and pretty river.

TV chennels, especially movie channels are limited and only Swedish subtitles are provided.

Location

1. I got 2 single beds instead of one queen bed. The bed kept slipping away on both sides. When I asked for help they did not do anything. They said they can not do anything about it other than changing my room to a cheaper one but without any refunding. 2. There is no phone or intercom in the room with which we could call the reception or help desk. Every time for every little issue or question we had to climb down the elevator from the 4th floor to the ground floor and go to the reception to talk. 3. The room card stopped working, so we were locked out of the door. Then we went to the reception and they changed it. 4. Then the TV remote stopped working, so we had to take that to the reception so that they could change it.5. There is no room service every day. Aftet every 4 days they clean the room.

Good price for a small but nice and fresh room.

The breakfast wasnt up to expectations, dry bread and sloppy bacon.

Very nice staff, very nice rooms, breakfast was good and free coffee machine ?, also bus to the airport directly outside the hotel, and great value as only est. €5.

The reception area and lounge is nice and inviting. Good area available to sit and work. Location in central Skellefteå is good, close to parking, restaurants and excercise possibilities (gym and tracks for walking/running).

Breakfast was ok but noisy in the seating area due to coffee machine and noise from kitchen. would be nice if it was possible to make it a bit calmer and relaxing during breakfast. Maybe move the tray stands further away from the tables and close off the area where the coffee machine is or get a coffee machine that does not beep loudly for every cup :)

Everything, breakfast is poor, rooms are cleaned every 4 days and staff are not attentive. Poor hygiene and smelly corridors. Noisy in the morning. Absolute never again, try the Wood or Best western. Way over priced for the services and quality. Terrible stay

Breakfast was a self service buffet with great range of food types, both hot and cold. There was more than enough food to totally stuff your face as if it was your last meal on planet Earth and get fat. Location was great, near the centre, with main bus station, taxi stand and all other amenities nearby. (?).

There was nothing to dislike although a heated indoor swimming pool and gym would have been nice to burn the calories from eating a massive breakfast, effectively meaning stuffing your face as if it was your last meal on planet Earth. (?).

Very nice breakfast, big selection. Comfy beds.Clean.Free parking on the street.

Shower pressure was quite weak, but not tragic, you can still shower.

Absolutely everything, breakfast is so bad, rooms are out dated, shower is terrible, Sauna is terrible with limited time access and not mixed! We are in twenty first century! V old lift and noisy at times, high cost, at beat 2 star hotel!
