Pros +
- Newly renovated rooms, very friendly staff who took their time in talking and explaining the premises. Free dinner and fika as well which I did not expect so that was a bonus :)
- Staff were really helpful, The Irish Bar adjoining provided really good food but with no disruption to the hotel. The breakfasts provided a good choice.
- The hotel and the staff were good, as was the location of the hotel, but the service they claimed was terrible.
Cons -
- I´m perfectly happy with everything.
- The parking is a short walk form the hotel but at -20 it seemed longer.
- 1- The evening meal they claimed to serve the guests consisted only of coffee and apples, and nothing else. 2- The breakfast was terrible, it really smelled bad and was inedible. 3- Only the breakfast was good and complete, and even that was no advantage compared to the money paid.4- The rooms did not have slippers, as everyone knows the hotel is located in a cold region and especially in winter due to the snow and mud on the streets when you enter the room you need to be able to use the slippers inside the room which were not available. 5- The worst thing is that the rooms do not have an internal telephone to communicate with the reception and the hotel service department. When I asked them what to do if someone wants to call you? They replied that you have to call the hotel with your personal mobile phone. This is terrible.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The pool area was really nice and well maintained, making it a great place to relax. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, which made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. The hotel itself was nice, calm, and quiet, creating a peaceful atmosphere that was perfect for unwinding. Overall, a great experience and a place we would happily return to.
Staff was very nice, polite and positive. Bastu with the pool was a great addition, the afternoon tea for guests was a pleasant bonus, good that there is a restaurant next door.
The hotel offers half board with the dinner option included. Unfortunately the dinner was a complete disappointment: we were offered very bad quality food as a buffet, with the paper plates and wooden cutlery sets! I don't think that is something one expects from 4* claiming hotel. It is better not to offer this option at all and concentrate on the afternoon tea with the variety of choice (which was quite poor at the time of our visit) than offer such a low quality service and food for guests for dinner.
Very nice hotel. Clean rooms. Very good breakfast. Comfortable beds.
The cozy hotel was very nicely put together. The interior was modern but also classical and the Spa zone was amazing with a Sauna and a small pool! The breakfast was great and the free Fika (Coffee and small sweet treats) was also very nice.We booked our stay with an included dinner which was also very good - nothing to fancy or complicated but very good and simple and freshly made. The staff really took care of everything. You really felt at home. The entire hotel is accessible for people with disabilities and has elevators and enough room for everything.Towels for swimming/Sauna are provided in the Spa Zone, and a cozy big bathrobe was prepared in the rooms.Hairdryer was available and our room did not lack any luxury. For this price a definite thumbs up from me.I can recommend a nice relax stay for a weekend and I will come back again if the chance arises.
The huge bathtub did not have a curtain or glass doors - so the chance to get the bathroom wet when showering is high. But there is a drainage in the floor and the water is very calcium free which means, that you do not have any ugly watermarks left.
It was very clean and teddy, the food was perfect
We hear the ventilation in the room, so we had difficulty to fall asleep. There were no slippers in the room or the reception , they have a problem with their suppliers, they said.
Great location for me as my work was only 5km's away. Parking next to the hotel, reasonable price also. Staff extremely friendly. The breakfast and the dinner was good, overall a great value for money place to stay.
The room was a little bit outdated, might have not been part of the refurbishment regime.
Very pleased with the stay. Breakfast, dinner, fika, good pool and sauna, gym, public space and all just for 185euro for 2 kids/2 adults. Kids loved it, we would definitely stay again.
We came to celebrate an Aunt birthday. My mum who is disabled spent two days before we arrived and staff were very kind and accommodating to her.We felt the service was excellent.
Truly enjoyed our recently renovated room, although carrying heavy luggage through the stairs was rather difficult. Breakfast and dinners were lovely, plus included. Our room was large - might not be the same with all the reservations.
*good breakfast*friendly staff *gym was available
* somewhat worn rooms and facilities* no (mechanical) ventilation (window opening was not possible due to noise and smoking from the pub guests; a mobile fan was available though)* loud and disturbing noise from the pub which is located on the ground floor, both inside (reception area) and outside. Not directly hotel’s fault but unlucky. We were somewhat unlucky with the room placement: choose between bad air quality inside or open window and get lots of noise and smoke from the pub.Would not recommend if there is a broadcast sport event and/or weekend due to the pub if you want peace; or ask explicitly for rooms facing the backyard on upper floors
Staff exceptionally friendly throughout, rooms, food, facilities etc. exceptional without any fault. Access to beverages very welcomed.
A bit too warm. Could have asked for a fan but didn’t bother as not too uncomfortable
Very helpful staff who make nice little gestures like leaving a note in our mother tongue and chocolates in the room after cleaning. The room and the hotel in general were very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfy. Food (breakfast and dinner) were decent and the hotel offers a traditional daily snack (Fika).Location within walking distance from the station in a calm neighborhood with a couple restaurants around it. The gym was a big plus and we used it twice during our stay.
Nothing to dislike really, but make sure to have the right set of expectations: there isn't much happening in the town (fun and tourism wise). In our case that wasn't a problem since we were there for a family visit.

Food was great, bed was very comfortable, facilities (pool in my case) was excellent. Staff were outstanding!
The whole place looked and felt a little tired and in need of a refresh. AC couldn't be adjusted or turned off in the room.
perfect service, available staff, I specially loved the free bike, gym and sauna & pool service +dinner & fika of course
The music in the nearby restaurant or bar turned off late at night and turned on early in the morning. So we couldn't rest at night.
Very cozy and we got great value for the money. The location was really good, very close to the train/bus station. The personnel was really nice and helpful. It was great having fika and dinner also included, and the food was really good. The room was very spatious and cozy and the bathroom was very new. Overall super happy!
