Ibis Budget Belem

We only stayed for a couple of hours and were happy they had a restaurant where we could buy dinner. The food was okay.

The rooms were even smaller than we expected. We could barely move.

I like the colors of the room, the view, the air and light coming from the window. The location was great. Across the hotel you can get breakfast and lunch. Nearby is a big supermarket.

Quite small. For the ladies, expect to give up your body care routine during your stay. They have a water dispenser, but only cold water.

When I entered the room, the room was dirty, with hair on the pillow, the smell was horrible, it smelled like mold…

Great value for money in central location! One of the few places with effectively soundproofed windows.

TThe room was very clean and had good space. The breakfast was simple but complete. I didn't use room service, but the staff was very polite when I arrived.

The room's bathroom is divided between the shower and the toilet, which is a bit strange and cramped. Furthermore, there was a leak in the toilet or elsewhere, and there was always water on the floor. The room does not have closets or other furniture to store clothes or other things and has a tiny bench that can be used as a table.

Hotel cost benefit is good,

Cleaness is the worts part, some fornitures are broken and unusable

The staff was nice, breakfast had plenty of options and wifi was great. I appreciated my stay at Ibis Belem.

The room we stayed was not big, but it was confortable enough for what the hotel promises. The downside is that the beds are not made, in fact, they fold the sheets everyday, which means you have to redo the bed everyday. It would be much better if they simply didn't touch the beds. The pressure of the water in the shower is a plus, but the temperature is inconstant (very warm in daytime and slightly coldish at night). The breakfast is not cheap, but it's abundant and fresh.

The staff that cleans the room threw away sometimes things that were important to us, like a package of food from the restaurant the day before, and a personal small towel that disappeared and was never found.

Breakfast buffet had many choices. The line to get coffee can be long with only one machine. It was quiet, the bedding was comfortable. Wifi was reliable. Staff were always kind and helpful.

The rooms are so tiny, but it is a budget hotel. I stayed solo rather than share a room for a week. I had to pay for breakfast every day—it would have been more convenient to put on my room bill and pay that way.

There was no closet or shelf to store my clothes for a 2 week stay. None at all. Weird. Never seen anything like that in a hotel.
