- The surroundings weren’t scenic. Walks were safe but not enjoyable because of the surroundings but enjoyable tours were available within a reasonable distance, as was the Indian Ocean. High temperatures were made less difficult because of the lovely ocean breeze.
- bed sheet looked like they were not changed but reused. the main bed sheet was not long enough for the king size bed
- The rooms were not cleaned properly and there was a gecko in the room.

This is one of the closest good hotels to the airport in Dar es Salaam. Which is a very important thing to keep in mind. Traffic in Dar can be absolute chaos. You don't want to miss your flight because you sat for an hour or more in traffic. This hotel also offers a free airport shuttle.
The hotel is right next to one of the busiest roads in Dar, and can be a bit noisy.

Really close to international airport - staff waiting to welcome despite delayed arrival. willing to help with arranging taxi to next destination. Nice firm comfortable beds allowing easy fall off to sleep. Treated well . Beautiful furnishing with a history.
The toilet seats had residue on that could have been scrubbed clean - key card wouldn’t work to access room when taxi already called and waiting. No ai con so hot and humid room.
The room was huge and beautiful. We had a great view of the city. Location was an easy ride to the sea. The staff were accommodating. Helped arrange transport to the National Museum and more. Breakfast was amazing. Loved everything about this place.
Conveniently close to the airport. My wife and I stayed here twice during our layover in DAS. Staff is very welcoming and nice. The restaurant also has good food!
The staff is very friendly and courteous. The location and free 24/7 shuttle to the airport are appealing features. Restaurant and room service offer very good selections and quality. Most staff have a good command of English as an international travelers' language.
The television quality and selection was below average. Staff turn-over from year-to-year seems to be increasing, making me question their salaries and support; in turn, this makes me less likely to trust newer employees. Restaurant food is very tasty, but service is on the slow side.
The rooms are massive and can comfortably fit 3 to 4 people. The staff is very friendly, it's extremely close to the airport (which can be a lifesaver considering Dar es Salaam's crazy traffic) and there is a free shuttle. I honestly don't think one could ask for more if looking for a place to stay near the airport.
