First stay at GT Masaki since 2020! There's no one on the planet who wouldn't enjoy that view across to downtown Dar. Maximum thanks and I'll look forward to the next stay!

I'm not sure that a low rating will somehow motivate the staff and the owner to change something, but I'll try-an old hotel, no one wants to invest and it looks very sad...but this is not the worst thing if the staff tried to do something for the guests.In particular, manager Joufrey Mahimba...when asked to give a check for the withdrawn money, he did not help in any way, but simply stated that the booking withdraws money to him and contact him....As a result, this is the first hotel in my life that has not provided me with any documents, which I will report to TRA

Hotel needs fully renovation. I'm Muslim. The toilet wasn't good,there wasn't a washing facility, but lighting needs to be improved. As well TV very bad not good size no sport channels .

Location and room size.

Breakfast was good. staff were very good. service is good.

Everyday the room access card needs to be activated. if you are in the upper floor then you better activate it before you go back to your room

Fabulous staff, views and pool

Stayed 2 nights - room was 32 degrees Celsius and had to call both nights as air cond stopped working and absolutely no water in the morning for both 2 mornings.......that doesn't make for a good stay when good money paid and doesn't help the staff who are delightful and work so hard......sadly won't be coming back

1. Two times, there were attempts to stop me from taking my own pictures...reason, that they needed proof that indeed I was a guest at the hotel! 2. The guy at the reception was so rude plus he tried to overcharge me way above the rate on booking.com website, yet I had booked online and the invoice from the site was showing a different rate. When I tried to challenge him, he became wild...I had no option since cancelling would attract some penalties, otherwise I would have cancelled. 3. Breakfast was flat, boring and the same menu every day 4. The bathtab did not have a drain cover for the first 3 days...had to wait for a guest to check out in order to get one. 5. WiFi was terrible

the location is great rooms are spacious.

the facility is old. needs some modernization touch. fro example, no sockets next to the bed. most of the fixtures are old.

Not very new hotel. No lift.

The ac was not working properly, and food was a tad overpriced. And then when you leave you need to pay regional tax and that should have been evident when booking

The location is perfect. By the ocean. A beautiful view of Dar es Salaam. The garden, tge pool, the pizzeria on the rock by the sea. The breeze is wonderful. It is very easy to get around the city from here with Bolt, bajaj or bodaboda. You can see that this hotel once was beautiful and the pride of the area. But it lost its spark since it did not get any maintenance.

There seem to be no funds set aside for maintenance. The place is spooky in its decline. The poolarea: the pool is not clean. Of unknown reason the stairs of the pool is no more there. The sunbeds are terrible. The environment of the pizzeria by the sea is so rundown that its laughable. One big spotlight give light to tge restayrant. The foid was good.

The sea views are quite nice

Where do I start1. There is an additional tax that you only get to know about on checking out if you pay on booking.com2. Breakfast ends at 1030 but if you go anytime after 9 you would have to make do with scraps, there will be no food. You have to love eggs because that's the only thing you will find and they won't make an effort to give you food.3. The Staff at the pool deck are extremely slow, you would have to order your drinks in doubles.4. Reaction to queries and complaints from reception is also very slow.

Check in experience was slow. Many menu options were unavailalbe in the restuarant.

Fantastic view to the ocean. Nice swimming pool. Good atmosphere. Very friendly and supportive staff.

Noise from corridor was easily heard inside the room.
