Sleep Inn Hotel - City Centre

The hotel was centrally located and close to most of the offices around.The breakfast was a good standard and good value breakfast, and the staff were so helpful.The rooms were clean and I loved the service.

If I stayed more since everything was soo nice

The breakfast was awful. Cutleries and crockeries are non hygienic. I wish to bring disposable Being a hotelier, i am expecting the receptionist should have customer service attitude. I was requesting a late check out due to my flight.. i am not finish with my request she already regret it. There is no flexibility in this hotel as if they are fully booked.

Straightforward and tidy, what you see is what you get. Very helpful staff.Only stayed one night so can't say very much.Location is pretty central in downtown, not much in walking distance but, views of other buildings if you're into that.

Very unfriendly staff, rooms were even worse and the free breakfast was non-existent

Customer service was very good - I asked for one of higher floors when I booked the room, and I was placed at 8th floor (out of 10). In addition, I arrived at the hotel very early in the morning and I got an early check in from 9:00 AM.

The facilities were very basic, and the cleanliness should be improved. In addition, Internet was very unstable.

Breakfast was really poor. Only instant coffee or T bag tea. Very poor choice. it appeared left overs from the day before were served again the following morning.

The staff were generally good specially chambermaids were great. The reception staff need further training. Though i had paid for this room via Booking.com, they insisted they hadnt been paid and asked me to pay again which i did. Subsequently I asked my bank for a refund which has been actioned.

They dont serve meals save for breakfast, which is poor and monotonous. I had the same 3 days in a row, 4th day I skipped it.

Not great being totally ripped off on the hotel arranged airport pickup and then arriving and having to pay in both dollars and shillings but then the hotel having no change that was never given even the next day. Not the most friendly of desk staff. Expensive and felt cheated.

Lack of food options in breakfast and no food in lunch and dinner

The hotel is well situated right in the Asian district. It takes 5mn to walk to Kisutu street to eat in good Indian restaurants. The rooms are spacious.

The staff were rude to us and we did not feel welcomed at all. When we checked in at night, they claimed that we did not pay for the room yet even though I had paid a month in advance on booking.com. I had to show them the payment to end the conversation.

International credit cards are not accepted. Must pay with cash, or a local bank card.

Central and conveniant in Dar and near the harbour. Very friendly and helpfull staff.
