I liked the flexibility of breakfast and the options. They also prepare eggs to your liking.

Staff in all departments were exceptionally service and customer oriented. In charge manager Sami was incredibly professional to ensure guests were cared for. Manager Dinish welcomes every guest with a signed personal note, extending personal warmth and hospitality. The food is top class. I will definitely be returning!!

The place is not well maintained, there are so many mosquitoes inside the room and outside; the room are mositured though the breakfast was acceptable.

The rooms are tastefully decorated and offer all necessary items. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom ok. Only overhead shower which is inconvenient when trying not to wet hairs.

Very friendly staff, possibility to extend stay for late check-out. Nice garden/courtyard.

Airport transfer is offered but on the pricy side.

There were so many great things about this hotel- the facility is so charming with all the woodwork and stained glass lighting, the outdoor space around the pool is a great place to hang out. Staff were wonderful and so helpful. We even had a custom cooked dinner on our last night and they agreed to keep our luggage while we went on safari for 5 days!!Breakfast was wonderful with so many options. Our room was very large, spacious and comfortable.

Our stay at the Protea Hotel Dar es Salaam Courtyard was delightful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The team and staff were incredibly polite, professional, and always ready to assist. One of the things I appreciated the most was the security at the entrance. They thoroughly inspect vehicles, even checking underneath, which made us feel very safe during our stay. The restaurant, while slightly on the expensive side, offers a wide variety of dishes with excellent quality. We opted for the breakfast-included package, and it was absolutely worth it! There were plenty of options and generous portions to start the day. Our room was small but perfectly adequate for two people. The only minor downside was the air conditioning – it worked but wasn’t as cold as we would have liked. Aside from that, everything went smoothly. To our surprise, we were welcomed with a fruit platter and freshly pressed juice upon arrival in our room. It was such a thoughtful touch that made me feel like a star! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Dar es Salaam

Very accommodating hotel. I needed an early check-in and they were really helpful. The hotel was comfortable and clean. I didn't get to use the swimming pool, unfortunately, due to time constraints, but it was a lovely pool area and would have liked to make more use of it. Good available amenities in the hotel.

The meals are very nice especially the local cuisine. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel location is great, it is situated in a very quiet neighborhood.

There are no lifts but it is only 3 floors however the staff are available to help with the luggage.

The front desk responded quick to messages.The breakfast in the morning was great. Big variety offered. The staff very willing to serve The porters were very quick to assist with carrying the bags to our rooms

The rooms smelt very stuffy. And mustyThe beds where smaller then expected.The pillows where alittle hard. The bedding and towels where old. Seeing that the bookings had children. Would of been nice to have the rooms right next to eachother The transfer from the airport and back to the airport was very expensive. Cost the same amount as the room one way. Would of been nice to have communicate the price in the query for the transfer.

The meals are decent. The breakfast variety is wife enough that it even accommodates people of a different culture.The waiters and waitresses and polite and helpful

The menu for the main meals is not as wide. The options can be widened a little.I also think the drinks menu can be made a bit more wider

The breakfast was good but somethings like beans had finished on both days. The staff are polite and helpful.

The lights in the room are too many but not bright enough. Too many switches.

The staff are fantastic and worked with us to ensure our whole group was well cared for, including airport pickups and breakfasts to go for our early departure. The facilities were comfortable and clean and the food was good. What more could you want!

There was nothing I was dissatisfied with.

It’s in a prime location. Not too far from the airport. The rooms were neat and the staff were so kind and attentive. They go all the way for your comfort. The dining experience was wonderful and the food amazing. I would compare to 5 star dining.
