What I liked most about this hotel was definitely the location. It’s just one block from the beach and very easy to access. The key card system was convenient, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was decent. Housekeeping was excellent; they were on my floor at the same time every day, very prompt and consistent.

One downside was that the room wasn’t fully prepared for three guests when I arrived. Although it had three beds, there were only amenities for two people, which made it clear the room hadn’t been checked thoroughly beforehand.The hotel has two elevators, but they aren’t synchronized efficiently. They tend to move unpredictably, stopping at floors in a way that doesn’t always make sense. Both elevators are very dirty, and it’s obvious they haven’t been cleaned in a long time. The floors inside haven’t even been swept periodically.Breakfast was mediocre.The worst part, of course, was finding a roach in the room, which was very unpleasant and clearly indicates that the rooms are not cleaned properly

Getting the keys, logging in and everything went well. The apartment owner was very friendly, room was pretty and had a lot of wardrobe space and air-conditioning and comfortable bed.

There is nothing really I didn't like.

We were just passing through. We arrived late and had to get back to the airport early. The hotel was perfect for that. Reception very friendly and helpful.

I liked the very friendly staff, the facilities and the breakfast. The location is brilliant. Great value.

I cannot say a bad thing involving my experience.

The staff are so friendly, they are very nice, for me the best part was being treated so kind by the staff , they do all they can to make your stay an enjoyable time.

The apartment wasn't really good, it looked old, the wall was dirty ,the shower would hold water on the floor after your shower , the water wouldn't go down the drain completely. The bedroom needs a good upgrade

Un infierno, solo había un elevador para todo el hotel, llegaron equipos de fútbol de niños y adolescentes con las familias la sala de espera era imposible. Terrible

horrible quality of rooms, very old sheets, cockroaches (luckily small) in the first room (needed to change the room), somehow clean but cleaning staff didn't show up regularly,only on demand... Breakfast very average... everything is just old and not functional...it needs a lot of renovation.The price was extreme for the quality and comfort...but it was the carnaval period... so it was definitely over paid...Not a pleasant experience at all

The staff was amazing, the breakfast is awesome, and is very close to the beach, less than 4 min walking, that’s all.

So much noisy that come from others guests. You can hear very clear the noise from the other rooms especially around and at the top, the room is dirty, the bedding is dirty, very uncomfortable sleep. I don’t have any plan to sleep there again. But if you don’t care about this points, go ahead.

It’s an old traditional Hotel in Recife. A typical medium range hotel not absorbed by any Hotel chain. Very good breakfast service, excellent shower and internet connection. Nice and helpful staff as well!

Old fashioned hotel. Needs a renewal urgently. Unfortunately due to Pandemic and probably due to financial difficulties, Canariu’s hotel has to improve in small details aspects such as cleanliness and room preservation.
