Pros +
- Location was great and front desk was very helpful.
- Good location for getting to central plaza. Closet for hanging wet clothes after our trek. Offered to go breakfast before our tour.
- The most friendly and helpful staff always available! Truly wonderful. The location was ideal... close to Plaza de Armas but yet quiet
Cons -
- The bathroom was very small.
- Coffee in am was not hot. After a day of travel was disappointed that 4th floor kitchen only had soup available.
- - The room was a little too small for all of our luggage and there wasn't a lot of ventilation/sun light. We couldn't keep the curtain open as the window overlooked the stairs outside the hotel and people walked by frequently. - The water temperature in the shower was very inconsistent, and more often than not, just lukewarm, not hot.

- Great location, very close to some really good restaurants and the center.- The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed and cared for during our entire stay.- They prepared a breakfast box on days that we needed to leave early for tours.- The bed was super comfortable.- Breakfast had a good variety, especially fruits. - They stored our luggage for us when we traveled to Machu Picchu.- They also booked a private taxi for us with a great driver and recommended great places. - Coca tea was available at all times. Will definitely stay here again!

I booked this stay weeks in advance, but when I arrived the only room available for me was the one behind the reception desk. It had one tiny window that opens to the reception. When I asked why I was placed in this room, she stated that the other guest had booked months ago and I had only booked weeks ago and that’s all they had left for me. In this instance, you should inform someone before they arrive that this is the only kind of room you have available. I was then offered a discount of maybe $30 which was not significant enough and I was forced to find a new place to stay within minutes of arriving in Cusco. It was very stressful. The property itself is nice unfortunately I never saw any of the actual rooms other than the one behind reception. The location is good but whatever cleaning solution they use for the sheets and towels is extremely strong smelling. Almost like perfume, but it’s awful and gives you a headache.
I didn’t appreciate that we were stuck in the room behind reception and we were only offered a $30 discount. The hotel did not charge us a cancellation fee, which I appreciate appreciated and the staff was kind. I just wish that I was notified ahead of time of the room type due to the fact that it wasn’t sufficient for me and my travel partner, and I was forced to find new accommodations last minute.
Great location and staff
Hot water never hot, barely warm. I asked the staff for soap in the evening and she told me she cannot provide :(
This is a beautiful old hotel, located half way up a hill off of one of the main streets. Staff were wonderful, and they had an adequate breakfast as well. The location can be difficult if climbing stairs is an issue. There are many from the street to the hotel entrance, and then more stairs to the rooms. Clean and accommodating.
Stairs.
Fantastic location - easy walk to the historic centre, but also close access to walking to Saqsaywaman.Tasty breakfast with rotating dishes (lots of exotic fruits to try) in a lovely courtyardTea always available in the courtyardNice terrace with a viewExcellent, helpful staffCharming room
Only one small window meant that ventilation wasn't great, but this was just a very tiny thing.Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend
The location was good.
The room was very cold. There wasn’t plug in heater. I was told the heat didn’t come on until 7:00. Breakfast was very basic.
I liked the location
Breakfast was mediocre and room very small. Bathroom was tiny. Room cold, with no heater.
The staff was extremely courteous and helpful throughout our stay. They helped with a good takeaway breakfast when we had to leave early for day trips. And on the days when we had breakfast in the hotel, we loved the spread. And when we were away for Machu Picchu (and came back for one night), the hotel staff was kind enough to place our bags back into our room.
Very attentive and helpful staff. Great with early morning check outs and navigating logistics for people who are going off on trails. They will provide breakfast to go.They even held our luggage for 3 nights whilst we were on the inca trail and had it ready for us in our room when we came back. Breakfast was lovely as well! Wifi works. They have smart TVs.
Not a big problem at all but you need to check the iron as it leaked when you add water for steam.
Good location, friendly helpful staff.
The bed in room 105 was not very comfortable.
The staff are really friendly and thoughtful☺️ Me and my brother had a such wonderful stay in here, we do love it so much! Location, breakfast and the decor of this place, everything is perfect!
Quiet and helpful staff
Bit cold
The hosts were very helpful and friendly. They spoke English. The breakfast was a full breakfast with healthy options of fruit, yogurt, eggs to order, and deli meat and cheese. The large ooms were cozy and had heat at night.
Dining in the morning was a little cold, only because it was in the central patio. They do have patio heaters you can have them turn on.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of all of the major attractions. The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was always clean. The colonial style of the hotel is authentic to this region.
Perfect location! Midway between Plaza de Armas and San Blas. Staff members were very friendly and helpful, arranging airport transportation and providing restaurant recommendations. Property was very clean and well maintained.
No complaints, everything met or exceeded expectations.
It is a colonial style hotel. The breakfast was excellent, with a lot of fruit
Great local hotel with charming, very helpful staff, with great buffet breakfast and free airport pickup, even late at night!
