Pros +
- Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Room was nice and the shower had amazing water temperature and pressure. Breakfast was good with different options. We had early excursions and they provided us with a paper bag breakfast to go. It was adorable.

- Friendly people and close to everything
Cons -
- Kinda loud at times since we had to keep the window open at night to let the cool air in. No air conditioner but that was all of the hotels in Peru. We¿re spoiled in the US.
- They advertises a 'shuttle'. They DO NOT have a shuttle. They will 'call you a cab' and then you can pay for it. In this case, at a higher than street rate. They also fall well short of the 4 Star rating advertised.

Everything was good.
Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. GreatLocation
Quite a strange place with the cold room and loud music
It was very very cold in the roomI checked in late, the restaurant at the hotel was open but had only 2 dishes from the long menuIt was loud music in the hotel at nightThe room had its only window to the reception areaQuite a strange place
Good location
Charged my credit card 3 times the price of my booking. Staff repeatedly told me that they couldn’t refund for 7 days after it took me an hour to prove that the charge was incorrect.Paper thin wallsBroken fridge / no mini bar as advertised.Staff in reception really unhelpful and never once apologised for their mistake. No offer of compensation either.
Nicely decorated hotel with home atmosphere. We stay at a three beds room and I like the firm mattresses
The check in was smooth and easy. The hours for breakfast were early enough to encompass tours.
The room overlooking the street was so noisy we were unable to sleep and had to be moved. The room service was not good. For a hotel that knows that many occupants will experience some level of altitude sickness and need room service, it was disappointing that at times the kitchen was closed or you would be told to call back because they were busy. They forgot our drinks and anything that was supposed to be hot was lukewarm at best. If I was not battling altitude sickness and was able to leave my room for meals, I would not eat there at all. I also got gastroenteritis while there. Finally, when they say they provide oxygen, they mean you are allowed 5 minutes of oxygen in the lobby.
Very good location. Breakfast was also good.
Reception area was noisy and music started very early in the morning which is not good for rooms facing there.
Fantastic location, staff were helpful - great breakfast
Street vendors right outside the entrance a bit of a hassle coming and going
Location was great. Rooms were comfortable.
Staff were not very helpful. We didn’t get the requested room.
Location
The reception was horrible. She wasn't polite. I think she tried to make our stay as difficult as much as she can.I can not understand why the drinking water is very expensive. And they take for me an extra charge for the local taxes even though I paid with my personal card.
Perfect location to walk around the city - fantastic breakfast that starts at 4 am !Staff very helpful
A little dated , poor ventilation ,
Breakfast was great. Hotel met expectations. Location was good because it allowed walking around historic parts of town and is also very near bus departure/arrival to/from Machu Picchu.
Terrible
Dirty towels, loud, not worth the money
Great location a short walk from the centre and nearby important sights. Clean, modern (although with some interesting historical parts) building with bar and restaurant, but...
The restaurant was terrible. The food was some of the worst I had in Peru and service was painfully slow, more than an hour and a half to be served even though the restaurant was not particularly busy. There were several restaurants not too far away, but I had chosen this hotel so that I did not have to go out again in the evening after a long day sightseeing.
Great breakfast, location, beds and linen. Supportive staff (they even called our tour agency when they realized we were waiting for too long at the lobby). They kept our luggages for some hours until the check-in and also after the check-out. the shower works fine. The hotel offers a breakfast box for clients who wake up early for the tours (you should consider it as most of the tours start quite early in the morning, like 4/5pm, such as Laguna Humantay and the Mountain of Collors).
Bathroom facilities are a little bit old. There is a fabric curtain in the bathtub and as it doesn't close completely, the bathroom tends to flood. There is no air conditioning in the hotel, which is not usual for a 4-star hotel.
Location
Personnel was not courteous or willing to help. Bed was uncomfortable
Location was close to historical center.Ok for the money it costs.Guacamole for breakfast was awesome.
In general its not a 4* hotel so if it is compared to other four stars, it is overrated..Only one person at reception was capable to speak english well. One day the room was not made even all day a request was on the door.At breakfast it was always a feeling that I owe something to the hotel - all selections were poor and almost finished even just brought by the personnel. Omelet was cold :(( it is the worst omelet I used to eat ever.. guys, you have heated trays.. why the heating option is not used??
