Muru Homely Hotel Cusco

The breakfast was absolutely great. The shower had excellent water pressure and great hot water.

The carpet in the common areas was stained and musty. The smell of the cleaning products was extremely strong.

Modern hotel near the main square, about a 15-minute walk. Breakfast was decent, and the staff was friendly.

There was so much noise from outside, especially at night. Since we were on the 5th floor, mornings and dinner time were also very noisy because of the restaurant upstairs. We stayed in a business suite, but it definitely wasn’t clean — the bathtub had a lot of hair.

Uncomfortable bed and pillows. My neck is still hurting after a couple of days.

The food in their restaurant wasnt good. We ordered twice because we didn’t want to go out and both times the food wasnt good.

The room shows online fotos, videos does match the reality of the rooms, rooms small for couple , wi fi not offer of the desk , unless you ask, ridiculous, taxis doesn’t not the location of the hotel

We slept good. The breakfast was not very diverse, but was ok.

Small room. We have 2 big suitcases. Unfortunately, the sound insulation was bad.

*Really friendly staff always on hand to help. They made takeaway breakfasts if you couldn’t make normal breakfast hours due to tours which was great!* Comfy, clean and modern room & bathroom.* Good breakfast with amazing views across Cusco.* Good location, a short walk away from the centre.

* Got a little warm in the evening and no aircon to combat this but not a major issue.

We had booked for only 2 nights and ended up staying for nearly 2 weeks because it was a perfect fit for our needs. We are digital nomads and a strong WIFI is essential for our meetings. Plus the staff members were so good to us. A special shout out to sweet Miriam, gracias por todo!

The room was excellent for our family. The hotel is in a great location. Every staff member was happy, helpful, and very professional. The showers had hot water and we liked the convenience of the restaurant upstairs.

The view from the balcony was breathtaking: I even caught an incredible double rainbow on my very first day and realised that was a good sign :)Spacious and well-appointed room, large bathroom with a warm wooden floor (seems like it was heated). Plus the room itself has also a wooden floor that is much better than stone one, coz it's warmer.Staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and understanding. I had a payment issue, so they kindly allowed me to check in, relax, and deal with it the next morning. Props to the team for handling my another request: 2 days before arrival, my guide delivered my luggage to the hotel so I could travel light to Machu Picchu, and the staff took care of it. Breakfast buffet was delicious and various: fresh fruits, pancakes, taquenos, omelets or scrambled eggs, good selection of juices and tea, cakes, yogurts, muesli, and even poped quinoa. I loved the last one so much that I even asked the lady from reception where to buy it haha. Although I was a bit late to make the purchase, and now, it’s definitely a reason for me to come back.One more thinng is affordable and fast laundry: 25 soles to wash all of my belongings (= small carry-on suitcase). And the location is ideal too: 15-minutes walk to the city center, near the San Blas market, where you can find souvenirs, chocolate, spices, fruits, and more at much lower prices than in other parts of the city, the Sacred Valley, or even Lima.

Absolutely nothing!

It was very comfortable and felt very homey. It was only 15 mins from the town square so away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough. The water pressure in the shower was incredible. The restaurant on the 6th floor felt like homemade cooking. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

No gym

We loved that this was just out of town, so nice and quiet but close enough to the historic centre. This is also perfect if you have a car as there is parking available. We easily caught an Uber into town. The staff are absolutely lovely, the restaurant is a good option for dinner. We also were able to leave our car and luggage at the hotel in between stays, while we went on a 2 night tour to Manu national park. Also have a range of snacks on site so don’t need to go to the shops, plus a handy laundry service.
