    Pros +

    • Girls at front desk were polite and helpful but the men needed more traing
    • Staff and location
    • The location is very convenient, very close to the center. The courtyard is really a cosy, warm place to relax after a long day. Kiki was the cutest baby we’ve seen during our trip. The reception staff was excellent in welcoming us, checking in was very smooth and easy. They helped us a lot with organizing a taxi for a very early hour in the mornin. Also the receptionist was very kind to recommend us very good restaurants in Cuzco.

    Cons -

    • This place is definitely not for retired couple
    • Room size was good but the comfort level was low. I think it’s a bit overpriced for that room. Daylight comes in low because of the small windows, noise coming from outside and beds were not that comfortable. Bathroom size and the shower were fine. Two points I’d like to explain why I give a low rating, in addition to the poor comfort:1- We had to leave at 05:30 AM in the morning, taxi was already organized by the reception (thank you again). But we had 3 big luggages to take from 2nd floor down to the main entrance and when we asked, “they said we have 24/7 reception, call us in the morning and we’ll send someone”. We called them around 5 AM and there was only the reception lady who cannot carry those heavy luggages. We haven’t let her do that and tried to handle ourselves. It was a big hassle, my friend injured her ankle and dropped her mobile while carrying the luggage.2- We asked for replacing our breakfast with sandwiches and the receptionist organized it well, thank you, but the bread was at least 2 days old and the sandwich was terrible.

nice staff, good location, seemed safe, kids loved the alpaca, airport pickup worked perfectly.

breakfast is a bit small for the price of the hotel; the room (4 ppl superior) is certainly not the one shown in the photos, but it is ok, just a bit dark (the photo has a couch etc., that does not exist).

It was central to markets, laundry's places, coffee shops. Music in the afternoon at the restaurant and the free pisco/ceviche class were amazing!

    It wasn't a free shuttle

This hotel was one of the most pleasant and comfortable places we stayed. Because it was smaller than the other hotels on our trip, it felt more personal — almost like staying in someone’s home. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Overall, it offered a warm and cozy atmosphere that we truly enjoyed.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything to dislike. It was a wonderful hotel to stay at in Cusco, and everything met or exceeded our expectations. I truly have no complaints.

Exceptional location, friendly and receptive staff reception desk, spacious and clean room, excellent breakfast with more than enough selection of food, amazing staff on restaurant. Recommend from my heart this hotel!

The hotel was tucked down a side street. The first night we did the cooking class which we enjoyed. It was a quick walk to the main square.

At first glance we really liked our room. It was spacious. However, as the night wore on it was incredibly stuffy and couldn’t sleep at all.We asked to change rooms but they were booked. They brought us a box fan and opened our windows, which opened directly into the restaurant. We ended up sleeping in the chair right inside the door with our door open all night just to be able to breathe.I wish I could say we had a better experience as the hotel staff was kind and I really think they tried to help.

Need some effort with the luggage on the staircase

The hotel was perfectly located near San Pedro market & train station. The hotel was beautiful and well appointed. We loved the free activities! Weaving, cooking class & most of all...meeting Kiki! The rescued orphan baby alpaca. I just adored her!! The beds were comfortable, the rooms nice & the chocolate & hot water bottles at night were a wonderful touch. They kept our luggage for us after we checked out & headed up to Machu Picchu. We had dinner at the restaurant here 2 nights, and it was very delicious. If you need a hotel in Cusco, look no further, this is the place!!

The courtyard & Kiki, how well the receptionist spoke English and how helpful everyone was.

    10MariaPosted on: 10-10-2025

Great location, friendly and helpful staff and very fun cooking class. Breakfast was delicious.

Can be noisy in the morning as people leave for early flights.

The hotel is in a good location. I didn't eat there but food looked good. The only issue I had is my safe didn't work. I asked for it to be replaced while I was out all day on my excursion but it didn't get done. They asked me the next evening if it got fixed and I said no but I didn't want to wait around for them to fix it. I had plans. Would have been nice if they just replaced it while I was out. Otherwise, good value, big room, but definitely a 3 star hotel. Staff is friendly and want to help. Room locations can be in bar area, so maybe ask to not receive a room there if it makes you uncomfortable.

Katherine and Elana, Roy and all the breakfast and dinner staff were amazing. The location was great and easy walk. A cute place and Kiki was an added bonus.
