    Pros +

    • Location. Service. Free tea in lobby. Speak English.
    • Great location on one of the plazas with many restaurants and shops around. Good breakfast with a variety of options. Property was also nicely decorated and comfortable.
    • The bell hop carried all our luggage up the stairs. The showers were hot and had strong power.

    Cons -

    • Too noisy. Floor creaks like an old boat. Ringing of the bell to let people in all night long. People couldn’t sleep. Have a silent bell. That would be better.
    • It was really hard to find. We asked several people on the streets and nobody knew. Maybe make a better sign as we walked right passed it. Also the beds were too short and hard.
    • Noise from the qoodem floors.

Location. In the front is a small park. Beg and is Plaza de Armaz. On the sides are stores and Macchu Pichu Excursions. There are many restaurants including CHI CHA

Breakfast could include a greater variety

It is located right on Plaza Regocijo which is great because it is an easy walk to great shops and landmarks (it doesn't require walking up or down a hill). There is a pastry/coffee shop attached that has great hot chocolate.

I needed a late checkout as my flight was not until 8pm. For 2/5 of the cost of an overnight I only given another three hours. Of course any extra time was great; it just wasn't a good value.

    Nothing to dislike.

Extremely close to Plaza de Armas. Centrally located to all shopping and dining.

Hard to block out the street noise and festivities.

    Great place. Excellent location.

Floor cracking and breakfast was very poor.

Location ok. Sadly it wasn’t clean. Dining area freezing and breakfast limited. Insufficient linen provided. Hair drier not working. Unbelievably noisy. Mould in bathroom. ……..

Hotel is at excellent location in the very heart of Cusco. It is nice and cozy, with a beautiful patio in the lobby. Hotel staff is very nice and helpful to the guests, they supported us in all aspects. The rooms was pretty small and there is no wardrobe, not very convenient for longer stay. On the other hand, all was very, very clean. the breakfast was very good. They made us lunch bags twice when we went for an early excursion. There is no elevator (2 stories only), but the staff helped us with the luggage. Free coffee, coca tea and coca leaves in the lobby.

Nothing special, maybe some small cabinet with drawers...

    Perfect location, nice old building.

Staff does not speak well English, the breakfast finishes at 9:00am.

    Location

Very loud at night. Not from the hotel, but from the plaza

    7CatinoPosted on: 12-9-2024

Great location, great value, good breakfast, super staff. Nicely decorated.

Room on the small side. No ventilation to outdoors or view, just a skylight. Big step up to the bathroom. Basic furniture. There is nowhere to sit but on the bed.

    10normaPosted on: 12-3-2024

Perfect location, close to the main plaza and a lot of restaurants, stores and pharmacies.

Close to the airport, service excellent, breakfast really good .

Breakfast was quite good, the kitchen staff was very friendly, hot water in the shower, central location

First, I didn't get the room that I ordered. No balcony, no city view, one bed instead of two. Instead I got a room with a window towards the breakfast hall where people started making noise from 6am. Apparently the reason for getting a different room was that the room I was supposed to get was not clean at my check in time at 7pm(!!)Raindrops on a window on the ceiling of the room were making noise almost all the time. At 7:30am someone (hotel staff?) randomly entered the room with an extra key while I was still in bed. The receptionist was not very service oriented and mainly focused on getting the payment done. For example he didn't explain where the door bell is which is in a very difficult to see area so that I had to wait for some minutes at night to enter the hotel after knocking on the door. Only after that I was shown the door bell.Considering that the price was almost double compared to other hotels I took in cusco, I absolutely can't recommend this hotel.

What I liked mostly was the location.

What I didn’t like was the overall service and how different the posted online pictures were from reality. The morning breakfast was very simple and customer service is not a priority from my personal experience. I read all the reviews prior to booking, but I can truthfully say I won’t be staying there again.

    8AmyPosted on: 11-12-2024

very cutely decorated with lots of antiques and funky vibes

the room was very noisy I didn’t sleep well at all. in the villas defense, there was a festival of somesort being set up across from my balcony with hammering all night band practice starting at 8am and then the festival after that

The location was good- close to the main square. The building was old and historic with a classic feel.

The hotel is old and historic but the bathroom could use a makeover to utilize the old aspect of the hotel. Because of the age, the old wooden floors creaked that it shook the bed when someone walked in the next room. That’s the bad part of old and historic.
