Pros +
- The only good thing was the location
- Great location, friendly staff and comfortable room.
- The hotel was good but there was a lot of noise coming from outside from all tourists waking up at 4 AM. The doors' isolation was bad. The rest was very good.
Cons -
- First it wasn’t clean at all, it was dusty and it had a carpet on the second floor that was probably there since years and years. The design of the room was also poor, it was divided in too floor with the bedroom on the “second floor” and the living room and bathroom on the first one. The forniture was very old and not curated. The bathroom door was made of glass so you can see everything that goes on in there. The bathroom itself was big but very poorly decorated and maintained. The service was ok-ish (still the worst of our experience in Peru) and the breakfast was very poor as well. All in all I would not come back.
- Can be a little cleaner… but was ok in general
- Our room had a continuous leak in the bathroom near the toilet that ended up smelling like sewage

Cozy.. perfect location.. amazing staff… people really helpful
Can be a little cleaner… but was ok in general
Very nice hotel good location Good breakfast and there is a restaurant also, nice central court so you can relax after sightseeing with the pisco sour
Within walking distance to the main square and staff were very helpful.
Our room had a continuous leak in the bathroom near the toilet that ended up smelling like sewage
Staff were helpful and called the airline after we got unsatisfactory response from the airline when our baggage did not arrive.
Room was quite small.
Beautiful old hotel but the central courtyard made it a bit noisy.
Music from restaurant could have been quieter and would have made rooms quieter.Very he
It's a walking distance to Cuzco main square, very close to one of the popular market. It's quiet area.
All good
The buffet breakfast was greatThe location was great
Room was a bit pokey because we had the rooftop rooms with the low ceiling
Great location, good breakfast, water was hot most of the time, very clean, quiet
Rooms have no outside windows even though it was stated here that we would have a Mountain View, therefore the rooms were rather dark. The staff was also very inflexible, when we mentioned the Mountain View, the only solutions they offered were to sleep in another hotel by the airport or pay 30$ extra per night for a bigger room. The option to check out late would have cost us 30$ extra. They wouldn’t change our bills as well when we needed it.
Interesting interior design with lots of fun details. Spacious room. Hotel bar. Good location in a calm and quiet part of Cusco, with a pretty square right nearby. Good breakfast.
The room felt rather chilly and humid - towels didn't dry overnight when we hung them up, and the floors were cold. The blankets on the bed didn't match in size, so even though the bed itself was wide and comfortable, we ended up sleeping huddled together to be properly covered by the blankets. No elevator. The jacuzzi in our bathroom had been disconnected and could not be used, so then it just took up a lot of space, and the tap in the sink didn't fit properly, so that water ended up on the counter and the floor.
I was there twice, so I was pleased. Beautiful building, peaceful neighbourhood and easy short walk to old centre. Clean rooms, no bugs. Good shower.Nice beds, pillows and linen.Good value for your money. They were flexible and I got early check~iin as soon it was possible.
Staff is nice and friendly, but not always so professional. I have to clear out several times my second booking, the days and the price, and still they walk to my room cause another one thought I have leff. And before that, on the very first morning serviceman walk to my room, I dont know why. These Just tells, the control system doesnt work.
Fairly spacious, with good bathroom. Had a jacuzzi bath and shower. TBC....Good location. 10 minutes walk from the main square.Heater in room if necessary.Nice shower and fluffy towels.
Found the occasional ant here and there, including the bed. Got bitten.Bed was fairly hard. Not too comfortable.Noisy building next door.Jacuzzi bath didn't work. Broken.
Friendly staff. Clean rooms.
Hotel need to increase the size of soap in the bathroom, soaps are tiny can't even washhands. The bath tub needs extra handle to get in and out of bath tub.
Hotel was really nice, very particular design. The location was the best part as it’s walking distance to Plaza de Armas which has many shops, restaurants and great bars. I recommend visiting the República del Pisco!! The stuff was very friendly, the rooms were very great sized as well as a very comfy bed. Absolutely loved the shower! Massive and great pressure. I’d definitely stay here again.
If you are looking for a quiet place this might not be for you. The hotel rooms don’t really isolate sound so it does get pretty noisy. To get to your room you walk across foyer’s mezzanines, which means that if your room is on the second floor (like mine was) you can easily hear people talking on the ground floor. Not a big deal for me, it’s still a beautiful hotel.
Great rooms, decent location, good room service and food for Peruvian hotel standards, and all the personnel was super welcoming and friendly. Overall a great hotel, especially at the discounted price that we got. Not sure if I'd pay the regular price however, but to each his own.
Actually everything was perfect for 5 days, except for the fact that we had a bath that didn't work, but that didn't influence our trip much. The checkout however, was very poor. None of our cards were accepted, which is strange for such a luxury hotel, and in all others it worked fine. As a payment link was also not possible, we had to run to an ATM to get cash, as we had to catch a bus at a certain time. We had to get cash twice, so we had quite some extra withdrawal fee costs because of that. On top of that, they did not have any change, because the hotel lady went with us to the ATM without any. This made the next part of our holiday quite more stressful.
Staff, breakfast, location
Waaaay to glitzy, w/ too many religious paintings…Almost spooky.
Good location, Comfy beds, very clean, great shower, interesting and unique decor. Stunning roof top terrace with amazing views, friendly staff
We had accumulated quite a lot of laundry from back packing around Argentina so we decided to use the Laundry service. Our white clothing came back absolutely ruined. I think they had been washed with a darker item which is completely unacceptable. The Clothes damaged by the laundry service included: a pure white linen shirt and matching linen shorts, 1 North Face pure white t- shirt, 1 free people white top and 1 Nasa pure white t-shirt ( all expensive designer brands) The NASA t-shirt and North Face t-shirts were not only returned to us grey but had orange stains splatted all over (i would describe as rust?) The Only compensation offered to us was 40 sol ( half the cost of the laundry service we used). Quite ridiculous, considering £200 worth of our clothing was completely ruined.
the staffs are really good. especially Yonatan, I have lots of questions he sort it out for me. they are friendly and professional. there are hot water kettle to let guess to drink special tea. So if someone doesn’t suit for high attitudes, they will feel better after drinking tea. I definitely will recommend to everyone chose this property.
