Great location, helpful staff, and the rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The buffet breakfast was great also.
Location and staff
Food truck guy at front gets smoke into the rooms facing the street at night. Lots of noice at night
The price was very cheap, and the breakfast was good with a variety of local fruits and juices.
We traveled with a group of friends and family. Several of the rooms were over a street where there were multiple bars, so it was very loud at night, and they had difficulty sleeping due to the noise. Several of the rooms did not have heaters, and it got into the 40's overnight, so they were freezing. My daughter's bathroom smelled like sewage the entire time. Our safe did not work properly, and literally every time I wanted in, I had to get the front desk to come open it. One time the batteries had gone out, and they did not have any batteries to replace them with. Even after the batteries were replaced, the power kept shorting out. The safe was obviously defective. The lobby roof leaked during the rain and there were puddles of water everywhere including the sofa's and chairs. There were extra mattresses and bed frames piled everywhere in the lobby blocking off a huge section, so I am not sure if they were getting rid of them or just storing them in the lobby. It was like that during our entire stay. Even though our daughters were on our floor in a room about 20 feet away, the hallways were closed off, so to get to their room, we had to go down two flights of stairs, through the lobby and then back up two different flights of stairs.
Friendly staff very cute. Location near square
It was hit and miss the hot water usually not that big of a deal. But a couple times came back from cold outings and really would have enjoyed a hot shower . Our room was very close to a bar that was loud all night. But I fall asleep easily. Not an issue for me.
Pros Hot shower Free water and snacks when check outRestock of towels Good breakfast Nice showers Near the center of Cusco
Cons LOUD music all night long Thin WallsNetflix nor the WiFi worked on tv Uncomfortable pillows Clubs near hotel so you hear the music all night long
Bed is comfy
Poor cleaning of the roomHot water run out 4 times during shower time in an 8 night stayLack of clean towelsPoor breakfastNoisy neighborhood, intense barbecue smell from the street vendorsUnfriendly staff
The location and breakfast was excellent
Windowless room
The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious in the cute courtyard and the location was perfect, we could easily walk anywhere in minutes
Lovely big bed and great location … staff were really kind and let us our bags behind reception for a whole night before we stayed whilst we went on a tour.
Told check in was 11am but in the end we had to wait in reception until nearly 1pm - they kept saying it would be ready in a few minutes. If they just said it won’t be ready until 1pm we would have gone for lunch and it wouldn’t have been an issue.
Very nice place, friendly staff, and great breakfast.
Can be a bit noisy due to the location.
The internal area of the hotel is spacious, beautiful and well decorated, with great taste. The room is spacious, with good structure - desk, heater, water heater for tea, minibar, bedside tables and three beds. The bedroom is well decorated with painted pictures. There is a lot of luxury in the bedroom and in the bathroom. Breakfast is great. Regarding the location, it is relatively close (300m) to the center of everything (Plaza Mayor).
Regarding the structure, the only thing less pleasant is the bed, which is a little bit on the stiff side. The hotel's problem was the inexperienced staff. My family and I went to the hotel late (8pm) to sleep and catch an early morning flight. We had some issues there:1 - The amount charged was different from Booking.com but the hostess, due to inexperience, did not know the reason (little experience) . She later discoverd that it was due to 10% tax.2- There was a 2h power outage at night only on our side of the hotel, at night before our trip (morning). The hostess was lost and didn't know how to handle the problem. We needed to pack our bags and take shower. 3 - At bedtime, the bathroom door closed (broken lock), and the hotel staff didn't know what to do. Later, they managed to open it.
The place was nice and close to restaraunts, cafes, ect. It was quiet, comfortable, and very clean!
Location
Noisy room and issues with the shower
The hotel is amazing with a gret location, just taking 5 minutes to Plaza de Armas, restaurants and the historical centre. The room was very new, confortable, clean and with many space. The beds were very good and confortable too. I highly recomend this hotel!
The breakfast could have a little more options to eat
Nice place, clean rooms, nice staff.
It can get a little bit loud there in the mornings.
Location is superb. Friendly staff. Bed.
Bad smell from the toilet (room 219). Nothing was done after my request to check it.Noise from breakfast area for rooms surrounding it.
The location was good
The “spa” / hot tub did not work. Also the water coming out of the shower head was not hot enough to take a bath. The hot water ran out in 4 mins. It probably takes 15 mins to fill up the spa. This was the only reason I chose this hotel. I wanted to relax after long days of hiking. Do not book here if you want to use this amenity. I paid extra to have this spa in my room. Also the breakfast is terrible.
