Didn’t get our laundry back at the time we were told which caused some challenges for hiking the next day, but it sounds like it was bad luck. The staff were apologetic.
quite area
i had a problem entering the building, even if i have informed them all my details. every time i had to call the concierge and had to wait. also the terrace lock is broken. i do not feel safe as you cannot lock the terrace, i left my items in the room knowing that the terrace is not lock. i have been sending messages to the staff no solution with the challenges i faced during my stay.
Great hosts, good location and reasonable price and good breakfast.
My stay was very good, no complaints
I liked the tv and the bed was comfortable
The cleaning service was bad, they changed the towels daily but the was no cleaning at all, I had to request twice to front desk for my bathroom to be cleaned. The location is far way from the main square, however the neighborhood is dirty and noisy. You can hear everything from outside the street and inside too, which is not ideal for resting.THE WORST THING: one night when we were already sleeping, the owner entered in our room without knocking, because of some issue with the toilet (not our business), it felt pretty invasive, specifically for my girlfriend who felt insecure the whole staying.
About 10mins walk from Plaza des Armas and close to San Pedro market.I stayed for 4 nights as it suited me and facilities were what I needed.Breakfast was pretty good and wifi also.
All the staff are very friendly and it is very clean here. Great to be allowed to leave bags while we go to Machu Picchu
They let us store our bags for the Salkantay trek. We were helpful with any questions we had and loved our stay here. Our room didn't have a window, but for us, it turned out to be a good thing. We slept like babies in the dark, and the room was nice and warm due to better isolation. The breakfast was nice!
Breakfast was good, and the place was close to the downtown area.
You can hear pretty much everything in other rooms, bathrooms smelled like there was something bad going on with the sewers, the area seems a bit dirty.
Comfy bed, good location, nice staff, clean. Recomend
Water on the last day could be warmer
Clean room and hot water at all times!
You can hear everything! But everyone was respectful after a certain time and my sleeping hours were not affected.
Great location.Excellent communication with the host.Delicious breakfast, although it could benefit from more variety (e.g., alternate options for jam or juice if staying longer)
The shower was not always hot.Wi-Fi worked well on the terrace, but there was no signal in the room.
The room was okay for short stay with nice breakfast (eggs, bread, Butter, jam, fresh fruit juice) with a view. The staff is nice.
We didn’t like noise during nights and early mornings. If someone needs to go in the hotel, they have to ring a bell, which wake us up everytime. We’ve heard people talking loudly during the night hours on the hallway. Our room had little window by the ceiling which was connected with other room so if they turned on the lights during night it was like daylight in our room. Nothing pleasant.
I had altitude sickness when arriving hostel and staff is very helpful and made coca tea for me. They help me booking taxi to airport so except for my sickness I enjoy staying at this place.Location in the centre of cusco, san pedro market is walking 5 mins. Roof top of hostel is amazing and breakfast is served.
Staff were super helpful, good breakfast with an amazing view of Cusco
Depending on time of day, shower wasn’t always hot
Cost and Scenic Rooftop Vistas
Shower hot water is not very stable
Everywhere sparkling clean. Hosts are very friendly. Bed is comfortable. Quite at night. Common area on the top floor has fast wifi.
shower could be better. But it is a cusco problemWifi could barely reach my room
Cheap place to stay for a night or so.
Bathrooms weren’t cleaned/ bins emptied throughout our stay (3 nights). Also no blinds in the bathroom which meant you couldn’t shower or use the toilet at night as people would see. You have to buzz/ ring bell to enter/ exit as door is locked (can sometimes take a while for people to hear). The area is okayyy but a little out of town.
