    Pros +

    • Staff was nice, hotel was well appointed with safe, restaurant, nice bed.
    • Staff was friendly and accomodating. Restaurant food excellent, with freshly baked bread all day.
    • The venue is gorgeous and the restaurant is excellent. Since the property has a lot of mosquitos, mosquito nets and sprays are already provided.

    Cons -

    • We had a Pina Colada by the Bar and I think it could be done better. Not sure if the bar man didn't have a blender? Maybe a cocktail training could be utilised
    • The breakfast had very few variety options of food to choose from despite being a buffet.
    • Bathroom sink was problematic. I suppose that’s not for all rooms.

The hotel's location is perfect and the staff very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant didn't have variety on the menu, and the service was very slow.

Amazing staff and great food at the restaurant!

Mosquitoes in the room were a nuisance for a hotel at that level

Rooms are a good size. For attractions it is a good location.

You pay top rate for the room and the shower trickles out. They give you a coffee machine with no coffee.

The breakfast was very good. You could have continental and fried breakfast. The staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you.

Pleasantly surprised by the fabulous decor and ambience, the warmth of the staff, the fabulous cuisine; and above all value for £. Ireen and Natasha at reception were helpful and engaged; we had great conversations and service from David, Raymond and Everisto and our room was spotless thanks to Forstina. The chefs and their teams prepared amazing well-presented and tasty food. We say World Class service, standards and style! Prepare to be wowed! Zikomo!

Nothing - seamless great service and standards!

Breakfast was great! The location is a bit out of town but I wanted quiet and I got it. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

    Everything was good thanks.

Breakfast was amazing, location was superb and staff were excellent. Enjoyed everything about the hotel including free late check out.

Nothing negative except for the mosquitoes in the open dining area.

    Location & Breakfast

Lots of mosquitoes in some of the rooms (even some after spraying) and some rooms smelled of smoke even though we requested non-smoking.

The cleaning stuff are very noisy and always chatting as soon as they are in the corridors. I complained so many times whilst there but no improvement. The stuff ought to be trained. The noise is so irritating

I booked for a room overlooking the swimming pool and was given something on the other side.I was told it not upto me the room I book and yet on your site you made me pay more for the room

    Good

disappointing Despite leaving a message, my booking was canceled, and the front desk staff charged us double the price. While they tried to assist, it resulted in us having to pay extra, which was disappointing. There was a miscommunication, and it's important for them to understand that after a long flight, guests need clear explanations. Unfortunately, this experience left us ending our trip on a sour note.

The hotel is located in the central, the features of the hotel are beautiful and ambiance is great. The people were very warm, from house keepers to the reception.

There is too much mosquitoes at this hotel, I think the fish ponds do more good than harm, as they are clearly breeding grounds for mosquitoes. I would prefer they treat th3 water and get lid of fish in there. Otherwise its very uncomfortable to stay outside or the restaurant/bar in the evening. Mosquitoes are a big nuisance or else you have to keep on wearing strong repellent. Secondly during our stay the hotel did not have a proper power back up system and this was the time the city is experiencing 7 to 8 hours of load shedding. One evening we spent almost 2 hours in darkness, that's not the service I would expect from Marriot brand.

    The deco and the furniture

The place was dark and the fire alarms system that randomly went on and off. This caused panic

    8JohnPosted on: 10-25-2023

Breakfast met our expectations at 3-star rate. We were mostly rate because of the early closure at 10:00 hours on a holiday or Sunday! The room was wonderful: clean, comfortable and spacious. the bathroom was well maintained.Dinner went well.Lunch was the downside of things as my wife got acute poisoning and suffered severe diarrhea. I almost had to drive her to hospital. Whatever it was, it was picked up in the hotel because we never ventured to eat out at all.

The Lunch on Sunday was the problem. Whatever the case, the hotel needs to look into it.
