- Everything was exceptional. The staff genuinely understand customer service. And it is not pretend. They behave as if they are welcoming people to their own homes. The food was fantastic. What a spread for the breakfast. The location on the Zambezi River also added to the ambienceAnd the joy of unexpectedly seeing a giraffe or two. Even the pesky monkeys were joyful

The location was perfect for the Falls and activities And I loved the main dining room terrace overlooking the Zambezi with the animals wandering around the gardens
The room advirtised on booking. Com not available at royal livingstone.
Small room
Location, friendliness of the staff, the facilities.
Being treated like a truely valued and important Guest. Every request we had, was met, and staff went out of their way to make sure they try get things done for you.
Honestly, the Boma Experience was not for us. Overpriced and Under delivered. Even the food was inadequate in terms of quantities.
The location is the best for visiting the waterfall. A large area where various wild animals live. Zebras, giraffes, antelopes, monkeys, birds. And all this on the banks of the Zambezi River. A wonderful bar where you can meet the sunset.
The hotel already requires renovation. For this kind of money, I would like to get something better. The Wi-Fi works very poorly and is unstable.
The hotel is truly amazing, the elegant colonial style, with the calm athmosphere is incredible. The staff is nice above everything, and of course the amazing parts are the wildlife in the garden and the connection to the Victoria Falls. It is out of question the best Hotel when you are about to visit the Victoria Falls!
We had a little misunderstanding at check out with the taxi order, so we had to pay for it twice.
In a beautiful location next to the Zambezi river. Zebras and giraffes wandering the grounds. Hotel residents have free access to the national park where you can walk along a path with excellent view of Victoria falls. We stayed in February and the falls on the Zambia side were very impressive and although it was misty this didn’t obscure the views.
Was expensive to stay but was a beautiful hotel
What an amazing hotel and fantastic staff. Suberb location next to Victoria Falls. Zebra and Giraffe walking in the grounds.
Unauthorised accommodation charges to my credit card and made me to have to produce evidence and submit a claim form! They have been very responsive but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.Cost for Airport transfers is extortionate. I would advise you to use other transfer companies and not the hotels transfer services.
It doesn’t worth it’s money. The hotel is “tired” and from Anantara there is only a name Animals are actually there, but it’s everywhere, you realize it later
1. Food (all food, breakfasts, dinners, sandwiches etc) is shit (sorry, but true). The dinner buffet is 65$ + drinks + service and it’s not even tasty…(( don’t even buy cocktails, it has nothing in common with originals 2. Hotel is very old and “tired”. No charges next to the bed which you expect when you pay a couple of thousands dollars, but you can survive without it. What is really disturbing is the toilet system. If there is anything heavier than liquid, you have to flush 5-6 times. Which is kinda awkward. If we were staying in the hotel “Zambia” or “Miranda”, no worries, but we are talking about Anantara here 3. When we arrived, all systems were down (internet, cards for the room, etc), so we were staying first night with no anything.
The wonderfully groomed grounds, with wild animals roaming around. The location on the banks of the Zambezi.
Fine dining offer could do with some more ambition.
We loved everything from the room to the breakfast to the location.
DON'T COME HERE
The hotel was nice but the tours are organized by Bush tracks Africa. How can a 5 star hotel rely on such a poor and not customer oriented company? A 5 star hotel should rely on the best company on the market. Bush tracks africa was such a disaster, first of all, they never replied to our emails, it took them 5 days to reply to a stupid email information, I had to call the hotel and ask them to talk to the company in order to speed up the reply. Such a shame from a 5 star hotel. Most importantly while we were there, we booked an helicopter tour for my mom birthday. The pick up for the helicopter was supposed to be at 10 am, we showed up at the reception at that time but found out the tour has been cancelled for no reasons. Nobody took their time to notify us about the cancellation (they said they did but it is not true since we have been in the hotel the entire time, such a shame lying to your customer). Then they gave us the most stupid info about the heliopter cancellation, they said a charter flight was supposed to land during our flight time. Of course Bush tracks africa gave us another version. Again how can a 5 star hotel rely on such a bad company? They didnt even apologize for the incovenince non they sounded sad for us. We took a 9 hours flight to see the falls from above and could't do it because of their poor service. Nothing was given to us in order to make up for their mistake, not a cocktail or anything. If this is the service this hotel offers to its clients, save your money and spend it somewhere else. I will never go back to this hotel ever again, in a 5 star hotel anywhere else in the world this could never happen, I am still shocked they are still working with Bush Tracks Africa.
Everything! The properly is an absolute dream, seeing animals around the property was absolutely magical, the staff was amazing, so helpful, attentive, friendly, caring, … I can’t say enough about it. The room was so spacious and nice, the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom has a very nice size. Common areas are so nice and the food was on point every single meal. I can’t wait to be back, it was the best time and this place made it absolutely wonderful.
Nothing to say
Beautiful resort, walking distance from the falls, the animals on the property did it for us
Location- view on Zambezi river, 12 min walk to Victoria Falls. Hotel park with zebras, giraffes. Good restaurant.
A bit expensive, the rooms may be bigger
Spectacular view over the Zambezi river with the mist of the falls in the distance. Within a short, safe walk to the falls. Super helpful and friendly staff who are obviously very well trained. Loved the Zebras, Impalas and Giraffe calmly walking around the property. Bed was super comfortable and the room spotless with a stunning view.
In general the food was good but not the greatest we've had but then we didn't go there for the food. For the price you pay to stay it would'nt hurt to offer a simple dinner included in your package. Most of the wines offered were way over priced and mostly imported from RSA. However having said this I would still stay here again as all in all it was AMAZING.
Everyone was very kind and polite. Alot off staff to assist you.
Breakfast was the best! From the menu little choice, and small plates. But overall ok
