Poor locationFood was above average for a rural establishment

There was a total lack of management.Drunken patrons who went ballistic until 02:00 at night with no control from management was totally uncalled for and unacceptable.

My family is halaal that why we didn't eat breakfast

The fact that they didn't give us the extra room we paid for or some discount on our food or a percentage back... We booked 3 rooms and only got 2

Had an amazing stay at the Albertinia Hotel. Initially I was only going to stay for one night, but decided to extend my stay. Wonderful staff, delicious food with decent portions, comfortable rooms, conveniently located close to many coastal towns and attractions, bar with lively atmosphere, calm and quaint courtyard for having amazing meals and drinks, safe parking & friendly locals. I had an excellent experience, and will definitely visit again soon!

Everything was perfect, and the staff made sure I had a great experience. There really wasn't anything I would give them a negative review for. This is a gem!

The Hotel atmosphere was great, with lots of character, reminded me of my travels with the family in my young days. The bar was a highlight, great vibe with the locals and tourist hanging out there. Did not expect it in a small rural town.

Rooms were clean, some could do with an upgrade (for example room 9). Place was a throwback to the 1950s or 1960s therefore had an old world charm about it.

Food service was quite slow and some confusion over both our food and drink order.

Our linen smelled bad, the carpet was filthy, and the lone fan in the room didn’t work properly (it was an extremely hot night).

Breakfast not bad but the fresh fruit option was not fresh .. canned fruit .. so didn’t meet expectations

Such a beautiful historical building, that was the very reason we booked it and it didn’t disappoint us at all. It was so cool, the night we arrived there was a big rugby match inn on the bar & everyone was so cool with us as tourists that don’t speak Afrikaans. We had a wonderful time, the food at breakfast was also excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely nothing

The hotel is ancient. Its like walking into a 1920’s movie.

The room doors and locks were flimsy and unsuitable

The hotel is located just off the N2, so not much of a detour required. The staff were really friendly. The rooms were great (I had no. 11 which was modern. My parents had no. 14 which wasn't as modern, but had a large bathroom and was a big room). Comfortable beds. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast which were really good too.

Friendly staff and service. A great place to overnight in the beautiful area of SA >Can recommend this hotel for cheap prices and really good service and food.

We slept in a good room which was redone,this was great but i saw that the other rooms were a bit old and not as nice

Although the building itself is old, the mattress and linen was of exceptional quality. The staff is very friendly and made an effort to make me feel at home and comfortable. The dinner was really good. Safe parking at the back of the hotel.

It is a real traditional village hotel

Room 9 & its bathroom is long overdue for a renovation.

Lady at reception was friendly.

Room didn't have a bar fridge, microwave or extra plugs. There also seemed to be something wrong with the USB plug as it didn't charge consistently. It's expensive for what you get.

Location was great and it had a smart tv

only one TV channel, Amazon would not work on the tv and not able to use Netflix as a guest.
