Punta del Este is a 30-minute drive away. Fully carpeted, rooms at Argentino Hotel Casino & Resort are bright and spacious. All of them have seating areas with stylish decor. Cable TV is featured in all of them. A buffet breakfast is served daily. International dishes can be ordered at Magdalena Restaurant, and fine drinks from Dianomarino Bar & Grill can be enjoyed in the garden. A tearoom and and a grill restaurant are also featured. Spa facilities include 2 pools, a sauna and a massage room. Tennis courts and a football pitch are featured, and there is a games room including table tennis and billiards. - Heritage building 100 year
- Nice architecture from the 30s, the facilities show their age. The lack of air conditioning was worrying but that same architecture with very high ceilings and ceiling fans meant it was pleasant even during a heatwave.
Cons -
- Lack coffee or tea at room
- It's family-oriented in summer so the swimming pools are not a place to relax being filled with children.
