- Little bit disappointed in our night at the royal. Fantastic location, great staff but the room just felt so old, like not the cute old fashioned room but a real old smell, our shower pipe burst so we couldnt have a shower in the morning and the toilet when flushing when be making the sound of filling up for the next hour. The pool was a bit meh, covered in feathers from the pigeons nesting above Breakfast was ok, I think overall its a good place to stay if you are doing activities throughout the day and looking for a place to lay your head for the night. Nothing more than that though.
