It needs upkeep

Everything was perfect. The property is beautiful, the rooms are large and extremely comfortable. Bathroom amenities from Santa Pele were amazing.Great service, great food. The view from the pool is incredible.Will definitely stay there again.

The property itself is beautiful, but quite small facilities and common spaces in the hotel

For the price paid, it was a terrible experience, mostly because our room smelled of cigarettes and on the last day it took the staff almost 1h to bring my bag from the room to reception

The front desk and concierge do not know much about what to do in Rio or where to eat. I expected them to be more knowledgeable.

Spectacular location and view.Amazing service (private butler) great facilities ( great spa) very nice F&B offer.The staff was extremly professional and welcoming.Beautiful rooms with balconies.Not cheap but worth the price.Very peaceful hotel.

The property itself is amazing. The decor is tasteful and the rooms a good size. The roof terrace is the jewel in the crown. The area on the beach is also great. The food was excellent in the hotel.

The only thing that would have improved our stay was the communications with the hotel. There are 3 examples:First, a day before we arrived we messaged on Booking to try to organise an airport transfer, but got no response, we then emailed the address on the website and got no response, so ended up calling. However, the person we spoke to didn’t speak English so we had to resort to WhatsApp with her. It all got sorted but only in effect on the fourth go and only just before we caught our flight.Second, we asked if we could check in a bit early when we arrived and were told our room was being prioritised for being made ready and that they would message us when it was done. No message was ever received so we just ended up waiting till normal check in time.Third, we had some laundry done. It’s meant to take 8 hours (good service!) but wasn’t in the room when we got back more than 8 hours after we had let reception know it was there to be done. So I called down and was told it would be brought up. It then didn’t arrive. We went out for dinner and it still wasn’t there when we got back, so, concerned that our clothes had gone missing, I went down and had to ask for them to be sent to us again. They were then delivered to our room, but it shouldn’t have taken chasing.Obviously, none of these are individually earth shattering, but in a hotel of this quality it seemed to us that the comms could be improved.

The location, the staff the food the decor the comfy bed the fact that it has a bathtub!!! A sauna !! A gym! Also the most incredible location you can walk straight into the seaIt’s so bloody amazingThough I was solo travelling I felt like I was on my honeymoon This is gorgeous - if you like city vibe with a beach! Like., it’s not in the mountainsIt’s just incredible though and breathtaking view from the roof top

Need more maintenance in the bathrooms, need double glass windows, because is too noise outside. Very expensive hotel for not offering an extremely clean and mold-free bathroom

Beautiful view from the pool a hotel with a lot of charm the interior design is beyond expectations. We met one lady who was working there who was going above and beyond her name is Luiza she made our stay beyond amazing and we thank her.

the smell of mold in the corridors and in the room because of the humidity. Maybe more choices of tea...

Great bed, big shower with tub, electric toilet, 5 star treatment from staff, they accommodated my early check in

The bidet didn’t work, the price was high for the room honestly double what I normally pay

We went to rio to stay at Fasano hotel for 4 nights but after the first 2 we were so disappointed that we moved to Emiliano and it wa sthe best decision we made. The hotel is so niche, feels more exclusive, always quiet, clean and the staff are very attentive to you and all the details.From the second day they already knew how I like my drink, ou room was always impeccable, they made sure to make us feel special and you could see the same treatment towards everybody. The pool area is gorgeous, the gym is even more and we loved all the dishes we tried both at Emile restaurant and also at the rooftop.

The only thing I would mention is maybe renovating the bikes as they charge for them.

The mid century design and aesthetics of the property was beautiful. Thoughtful design combined comfort and style. The staff were amazing super friendly and helpful and the food was nothing short of outstanding.

Very good location and views of the beach, nice pool

The hotel is beautiful. The location is unbeatable, and the view from the rooms is like a painting. Stunning! The facilities are great. You can get a very decent workout done at the gym with an amazing view plus, there are 2 saunas next to it. Massage is available at the spa. I love it. Very good service and the staff is one of a kind.

The menu at the pool/rooftop bar could be improved. Not the best options on the menu. Whatever you pick will be very good, but the options themselves are not great. I saw myself ordering things just to not be hungry. Again, the food was very good, but I couldn't find anything that I was excited to order.

Great restaurant and rooftop. The staff of both places is amazing.

Service Desk is terrible, not responsive and very reactive. The room instalations is also very old and needs urgent maintenance.
