    Pros +

    • Good location for us nearby the venue (visited the concert)
    • The beach at Barra da Tijuca is a great pick. Promenade on the other hand as just too far from the beach.
    • Sunny property, comfy room, staff were all really nice. Joao Vitor and Ana Lucia were particularly helpful and kind.

    Cons -

    • Poor breakfast (no vegetables or salads), blockage in the sink, there was no simple slippers, no toothbrushes
    • The breakfast was fair enough, nothing extraordinary. Could have more variety of options. The room was ok but needs some renovation. The curtains are very old and lack maintenance and cleaning (blackout curtains are just rottens). Cleanliness was also disapointing. Finally, we asked for a crib but it was in such a bad condition (very, very old with stains and dirty) we prefered poutting the baby to sleep on the sofa.
    • An outdoor pool would have been nice, or a shuttle to the beach.

The room was spacious and looked nice. The breakfast was tasty as well. There’s usually at least one English-speaking staff available at reception. Good value for money.

This hotel is not in a walkable location (I knew this ahead of time but just a fair warning to other potential guests), but if you use Uber/taxis, you’ll be okay. My biggest issue, though, was cleanliness. The couch in my room was dirty - it had visible stains. I avoided using it altogether. There were also tiny ants in the bathroom, particularly around the toilet. I also spotted a few later inside the room. The WiFi was also sometimes spotty in my room.

Breakfast was pretty simple and for the price I expected better things, not just the basic it was like I was at a Hostel

breakfast at all and the gym is small with bad treadmill

    Breakfast

I don’t as given a very bad room. In the last 15 years that I have stayed at this hotel, this was by far my worst experience.

I like this hotel for the good rooms, pricing,

This time the service was terrible. I had a person of room service knocking 4 times in my room to see if I was leaving… it was really bad this time.

Efficient night staff for a late check in and an early check out.Hot strong shower.

No coffee facilities for early check out.

    Good service, receptionists and dinning

    The area far from ocean

The rail was very basic. My sink was blocked, the shower is "all or nothing" and the beds are stone hard. The Airco is very noisy, so better sleep with the window open but the traffic is noisy till late and start early in the morning again.

The bathroom is small and basic, the restaurant is poor and the diner is not great. The location is far away from other restaurants, except the small ones at Casa shopping centre. But you don't want to eat there every day.

Location is excellent for Jacarepagua airport and Barra Shopping.Shower with quick hot water and excellent pressure.Night Staff quick and efficient for check in/outI didnt use the breakfast facilities on this occasion but on previous stays I have found it to have a good selection of breakfast foods.

It was quiet, the breakfast was outstanding, the air conditioning worked great and it was within walking distance to many restaurants and a mall.

It was farther than we expected from the beaches, but that was our oversight. We got around fine with Ubers

I live this property, for its comfortable rooms, ease of acess and parking, cleanliness, always nice people

Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Location is safe to walk, especially day time. Supermarket is 5 min walk, Parc Shopping mall is 6-7 minutes walk. Uber pick up can be in front of reception. I'm vegan and I had to work with what they had to offer in general. Brazil in general is not a vegan focused country (yet). However, the hotel had amazing delicious fresh fruits every morning. There were two gentlemen working at reception they were absolutely brilliant especially the one who didn't speak much English, but he was very kind and super helpful ( I don't remember his name). I understand Portuguese but barely speak it, but most reception staff speak English. Room clean and tidy.

Hall way on ground floor towards the lift needs more light. This is more a feedback to the hotel not that it was something that I didn't like.

    Location, Affordable

AC in my room was really dirty inside the fins, the fins were broken and stuck in same position, a lot of fungus and water! Available towels were dirty and old.

    Breakfast was great

Some parts of the building are not finished and many switches did not work in my room.

The staff were friendly, breakfast was okay.

Was there for a conference. Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel did not meet our expectations for a 4-star stay. The air conditioning system did not effectively control the humidity in the rooms, which made for an uncomfortable environment. Additionally, we were disappointed with the quality of the dinner, which was priced at 45 reals per person and consisted only of inedible fries. The TV didn't work at all. To make matters worse, one of the staff members was wearing a ripped shirt, which detracted from the professional atmosphere.

The location is really good and the food is great as well. The room was super comfortable. We stayed in the one with the kitchen. It was really nice. Very spacious and comfy. The bathroom had a nice shower and a big countertop so we could put all our products there. The curtains had black out, which was good because there are big glass doors in the entire wall.

The points for improvement would be that there were not any blankets in the room, we had to request one at the front desk, and fortunately got the last one, because the hotel was full. Some of the Front Desk staff were really nice but others were a little bit sharp. No one was rude but some could be more kind and willing. I also had to go to the restaurant to get new silverware because some of the ones available in the room felt sticky like if it had been used and not washed.

very clean, spacious room. the staff always helpful, breakfast has a big variety of breads, cakes and the best fruit!
