I was a little disappointed that there was only a small bar of hand soap. The breakfast was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and the location was great. The facilities are old, but it's an economical place.

Staff was helpful and polite.

AC didn’t work on the first room and was extremely loud on the second room. Bedsheet feels like sandpaper. Room is very dark - impossible to apply make up (bathroom is integrated in the bedroom). Toilet is literally inside a closet - knees touch the door.

The location was safe and quiet. The staff was so helpful. They could easily communicate with our english and portuguese speakers. Room was always tended in the morning. For the price, this was amazing. We came in a group of 14 people and not a single person had a complaint.

It’s in Botafogo, but not in my favorite part of the neighborhood. And possibiy the worst Ibis I’ve been.

Not much to say beyond: this would be my last option next time staying in the neighborhood…

My recommendation is for people who will stay for a short time.The positive points are that the internet is very good. I had many online meetings with people abroad using the Zoom platform, and I was never interrupted by internet problems.There is a washing machine and dryer in the hotel, which made my life easier. The breakfast is good, and the staff, in general, is friendly.

The negative points are: I stayed for more than twenty days, and there wasn’t a wardrobe in the bedroom, which was really small. The cleaning service only happened in the afternoon, even though the staff said it started at 9 AM. You need to request it if you want your room cleaned, and the cleaning is not thorough, they definitely need to improve on that.I only saw queijo minas, a typical cheese from Brazil, for two days in the breakfast. I wish it had been available more often, as it’s a traditional cheese in Rio. The bread was hard for several days, seeming as if it had been served for more than two days.The snacks sold at the hotel are really expensive.

Very nice budget hotel overall, the breakfast was good, the shower was great. The bed was good too. The staff was very kind and the woman at the reception spoke spanish (we are from Argentina).

The room was smaller than expected, but it wasn't terrible.

It is in a very good location, and the bedroom is enough for a budget stay.

Well located, fair price. The breakfast was simple but good enough.

The payment process was difficult. They did not offer the possibility of pre-payment with any debit or credit card from countries other than Brazil. So I had to spend some time discussing this over WhatsApp with their employees and they weren’t able to really help. I had to manage to ask for a Brazilian friend to do the pre-payment on my behalf.

Staff was really nice , 5 Minuit walk from shopping center and the beach , self service shop at reception is a great idea

They overbook sometimes and you loose your reservation

Made a reservation with months in advance, when i arrive at the hotel, they had overbooked it and did not help me finding a new location. I have to drive a car at 1am in rio to find a new place and I had to pay much more for the night. They are not reliable and poor service.

Good location

Lack of support before I arrived when there was an issue with my booking. Ended up costing me more. Was very disappointing.

Great for budget, though we probably paid a bit more due to the high season. Bathroom was a bit dirty when we arrived but cleaning staff was amazing and helped us out.

Breakfast options could be better, but it's what you can expect for the budget option
