Ribalta Hotel Barra da Tijuca by Atlantica

It was terrible. I don’t recommend this hotel for anyone.

The room was dirty and had a bad smell. It had not been properly maintained. The room was not soundproof, and we could hear noise coming from outside

The staff was friendly, and the location was very good.

It is not a four star rated Hotel. The rooms are old. The sheets were dirty, there were holes and stains on the bedsheets.

Breakfast was great. Room was comfortable.

The bathroom sink was clogged

Breakfast was offered from 4:30 am to 10:00 am, which is a lot wider window than most other hotels I've been to. It wasn't too far away from the major sightseeing places in Rio de Janeiro. Beaches in this area are a lot quieter. Location-wise, it was perfect. Air conditioning was fantastic.

Refund process on the accidental double charge could have been better communicated. There was draining issue with the shower room. There were only few TV channels available. Ironing board cover was loose.

Everything, very good stay

The common areas with snooker and everything, a rooftop bar, 2 caipirinhas for R$30?. The breakfast menu was delicious.

Came to Rio for a conference and stayed at this hotel. Really liked the staff and one of the best breakfasts I've ever had in a hotel. Good location and comfortable room. The only downside is the lack of a safe and a "tired" shower, but overall I really liked everything.

It’s falling apart on the inside, from door handles coming off to moulding showers to unprotected mattresses. It was far from the best of Rio, probs as costly to get to and from as the stay itself. The location is also not a safe and easy walking distance to anything of note. The breakfast was subpar.

Breakfast excellent, location and staff was great really relaxed atmosphere enjoyed my stay and would definitely return, I can recommend this hotel

Nothing to dislike

Limpeza, quarto amplo e facilidade no check in e out.

I liked eating at the hotel. It's very important to maintain this service, and make appropriate food for special occasions.

I didn't like bathroom cleaning, and it's necessary to pay attention to the bed clothes.

I had to change the room because it was not ao clear. But they immediately gave me a better room that was ok

Good facility for priced paid. Buffet breakfast was excellent, included in price.

Better signage outside property. It was difficult to find the entrance to the hotel.

A good service of Food & Beverages, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The bathroom needs an urgency maintenance. Wood parts are moldy and the isolation of bath area very old and with a horrible aspect.

Gym center was not operating

very well localized (safe region), fantastic staff and decent breakfast.

The room is not very well clean, specially under the bed, I could find dust on top of a hanging light. The bathroom lacks proper shower curtains or at least a glass box. The view of my room was very lacking, and in booking it was listed with a city view.

The breakfast

The rooms are dirty, smelling bad. Next to the property there is a show house and you can listen ALL the show from your room. It could be great, if the artist is good, or terrible if you don’t like the artist or you need to rest. Even the noise of other rooms are clearly listened.
