ibis Rio de Janeiro Parque Olimpico

The breakfast was good but very monotonous. Location was also not too far from my Conference venue at Riocentro.A lady, named Victoria, one of the staff was exceptionally kind to us when we were almost stranded at the hotel. She went an extra mile to ensure our challenge of getting to tbe Airport was overcome. She is very kind and she added the icing to our cake of the 7 nights spent in Ibis Rio de Janeiro Parque Olimpico Hotel.I will surely come back just because of her.

The front of the Hotel needs improvement.

I liked the location with a shopping mall in front of there. The staff is good, and the facilities are also good.

There is not a good variety at breakfast. The shower in the room was not good.

The huge banquet breakfast was great and I wouldn't have changed a thing! The staff was friendly. I'd had some problems with booking dates that was my fault but wasn't able to change it before arrival. But the staff immediately understood the situation and corrected it. I even got back home and realized that I was charged for a night that I wasn't there due to all the confusion and when I sent a email it was corrected. So very pleased with that!

The shower door didn't shut completely and leaked in the bathroom after every shower.

Everything was great! The huge breakfast with a lot of variety. Comfortable beds in room.

It is probably an American thing but I would have liked to have washcloths to wash my face and hand towels. Only a bath mat and two large bath towels are available.

Perfect location, the staff is really friendly and the room is okay, you can listen a bit to the tráfico if you're near the main road and no reading light. For all the other it was really good

Very dark place, the corridor looks scary, the place gives the vibes of coldness.The bed is uncomfortable and the toilet flush was faulty.

Found bugs in the room, the AC started to spill water, and the breakfast wasn’t good

Location is good. Shower was good.

Breakfast was way below IBIS standards. The room smells like moisture, very unpleasant. The remote control of air conditioning was not working properly.

Decent breakfast and rooms, nice staffs, excellent location.

Only the location

Firstly , the check in staff were pathetic .It took us for more than an hour for checking in .It’s just unbelievable and not acceptable by any standards .Arguably , one of the worst .Secondly , there were no basic amenities ( no drinking water bottles , nothing in the mini bar , no water kettle for coffee , no locking facility on the bathroom ) .

Minibar empty, not a single bottle of water. It took more than 1 hours to do the check in!!! Not acceptable when there was only few people in front of me!!!

The receprion staff was good and colaborative

The courtain of the room were very dirty and was imediatelly reported to the receprion, but nothing was done. The dirty towells were organized and putten again in the room. The food containers left by some guests after dinner were left in the corridor in front of their rooms from early morning until almost the end off the afternoon. Lastly, I was given a room wth AC problems, that let water fall down inside the room, what means that there is a fair control on the room situation before receiving a guest.
