- Location is great. Right in front of Copacabana Beach and 5 min walk to Ipanema Beach. Lots of restaurants and cafes in the area. Very friendly staff.
- Excellent location. The best. Better than staying along the Copacabana stretch because you are so close to Ipanema at the Orla. There are many places to eat nearby - also The Fairmont is practically next door. The hotel is spotless & the staff is helpful.
Cons -
- Only seafront rooms have a view. The others have windows that look at a wall. But it?s fine if you?re only in your room to sleep and chill out.
- You'll see some complaints about the size. It's a narrow building. The room size and bathroom are fine for two people. How much time do you really want to spend in your room when you have all of Rio to explore?
- The street in front of the hotel was extremely noisy, with street cleaning trucks and construction and people yelling well past midnight. Definitely needed earplugs to sleep. Guess I shouldn't have paid extra for an ocean view.

The location was convenient to both Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. The rooftop was nice. The breakfast was good.
The street in front of the hotel was extremely noisy, with street cleaning trucks and construction and people yelling well past midnight. Definitely needed earplugs to sleep. Guess I shouldn't have paid extra for an ocean view.
