Beds with no bed sheets, holes in mattress, bugs, rude staff, bad breakfast. A rooftop pool does not justify this place being considered even remotely ok.

Breakfast

Staff rude. We waited almost an hour to check in. I questioned the delay and the receptionist was rude. She didn't provide any information about the hotel, etcetera.Receptionist absent from the reception desk when I need it information.Water was leaking and soaking the entire bathroom when we used the shower. It Was unpleasant!

Good central location, very clean room, helpful staff, great breakfast

Breakfast service was good. Staff answered all questions.

Sink wouldn’t drain, the gym was lackluster, too much noises, and questionable parking / no free parking

Stuff! The front desk agent doesn’t speak English. But worst that that he didn’t know how to read. Holding in hand my passport he couldn’t read my country and just put a random one in all documents! Also they refused to prepare for us some sandwiches for early leaving, but the breakfast was included in our rate. We didn’t like the bathroom.And location. Even it’s close to main attractions in Downtown doesn’t look safe. It’s just 3 blocked but feels very bad.

Everything was perfect. Amenities, breakfast, staff, wifi. All clean. Just great value for the money.

Really good value hotel, with lots of facilities (restaurant, gym, pool). The room was comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. We've stayed in 4 star hotels that weren't as nice.We ate at the restaurant twice and the food was good, and very reasonably priced for a hotel! Breakfast was also good, with lots of selection.

There was a lot of sand on the floor of the room, otherwise it was very clean. Also the A/C was very noisy.

First of all thumbs up for the staff ! Manager very very present and does his best to make environment pleasant and well organized. Also Mr Sebastiao always there to assist in anything needed, thank you very much. Breakfast was very busy but nothing was missing, food was nice and tasteful. Clean breakfast room. We needed to change to a room with the new air conditioner and this was silent and bright with a big and comfy bed.Very central area close to many restaurants and night life, though still quiet for the light sleepers. Nice cocktails in the pool :)

First and second room we were offered had a very old air conditioner and this was unbearably noisy. We try to be flexible and not very demanding when we travel but thise aircos were just impossible. Luckily they found a third room that had a new airco and we could stay. That was nice at the end. The pool did not look very clean , the water was cloudy all days we were there and the bar music was extremely loud from the morning till closing time. The pool and rooftop area is small and with the loud music was a bit bothersome and sometimes was even hard to hear each other. Our room was just bellow the pool and from downstairs we could already hear the music - that was not bad but at the pool was not very pleasant.

Close to some attractions

Dirty, AC and internet no I’m working at home, staff was rude in whenever I brought up the issues they shrug their shoulders as though I need to deal with the problems. I tried to contact the booking, but there was no reply, they just sent my message back to the hotel who I had been contacting multiple times a day already about the many problems.

Airco was noisy but otherwise the location , room & location were adequate & the breakfast was satisfactory

I had a confusion over my bill as paid daily & should have been issued receipts

the location was good though there were a lot of drug addicts in the neighbourhood. but we liked the restaurants and bars nearby. the selaron was in walking distance

the guest toilet was nasty. the bathroom in our rooms did not drain immediately. also, they never messaged upfront that we should pay RS cash or with a creditcard. but then they offered to exchange 100 USD per person, so we could do some of the local payments. and they never answered my message that we were going to arrive at 6 AM the next morning. and also hardly any personnel speaks English, instead of the info on booking.com. there were brochures in the lobby, but they never actively offered to arrange any activity.

Very cheap and amazing place to stay for a night or two, very central. The breakfast was amazing!

We had dinner at the restaurant in the evening because we saw the prices were very reasonable, but the food was terrible, as was the service. All the tables were left dirty for a long time, and the waitress never came to bring the menu. We ordered some cheese balls, but they were completely frozen on the inside. We told the waitress, but she forgot to bring them back, and we had to ask for them again, the restaurant was empty there was only 3 people having food a part from us. She was sitting down on a chair.We also ordered a pizza, which was like the cheapest frozen pizza from the supermarket, really bad and cold when it arrived.

The breakfast is great with many options. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We had an excellent stay here.

The room was ok with a small bathroom. The breakfast was good.

The pool water was very dirty! Room could be much cleaner specially windows! The bathroom was too small and water could not pass normally in the sink! Bathroom sink was also small. Breakfast area could be cleaner and the quality of food was not good enough.

The breakfast was great for it's price point, the wifi worked well, and the air conditioner, while loud, worked well. The staff was also very nice.

The room was dingy. Things that were supposed to be white were stained a brown color, there were stains on the wall like someone threw a drink on it, a small brown stain on the bed spread that could have been blood, brown stains on the towel, mold in the bathroom. The room could have used a major update, but for the price point it wasn't horrible.

The rooftop pool and bar was a lot of fun. The pool was quite small, but we enjoyed it! The breakfast was also decent, and we enjoyed that as well. The hotel is located very close to Lapa and Centro, which meant we could get to a few key locations easily, like the famous steps and the cathedral. We felt safe enough while exercising normal city caution, although I wouldn’t recommend this location for families with young children. The price was good, and we don’t regret our stay.

Our room was very minimal. While it was clean, it didn’t look great. There were some water stains on the walls, and the air conditioning unit was pretty gross looking. The air conditioning kind of worked, but it was so loud that it made it difficult to sleep at times. Our window was also cracked. The sheets did not stay on the bed, which meant the mattress kept getting exposed during the night. I found that to be a bit gross. The location being near Lapa also meant that it’s not the nicest place to stay, as there are lots of homeless people around the hotel and going for a walk wasn’t very leisurely. The wifi was also spotty and didn’t always work very well.

Staff was friendly

Location is in a rough neighbhorhood. Room showers had mold and moldy smell in one of the rooms.
