Breakfast and the roof top pool area were nice.

Quiet old facilities. The windows are single-paned and there was a lot of street noise even on the 13th floor. Also our neighbors were very loud—i think the listing claimed the rooms were sound proof, and that definitely wasn’t the case. The housekeeper took away the key we left in the thing that shuts off power when the room is vacant when we were trying to charge our electronics—I assume that is about rationing AC. Prices are far too high for the accommodations provided. Will not be back.

Breakfast is good and the hotel is clean.

Once I had already paid thru booking they told me that I Bring another person to the room I gotta pay an extra 30 dollars fee (AFTER I HAD PAID).The matress at the superior room is not comfortable, in fact it is two mattresses together, and bad ones.The swimming pool is way better in the picture than in reality.

It was a heat wave and the building was struggling to stay cool. It's time to change the carpet in the lobby.

The staff is very nice, friendly, helpful and pleasant.

It looks old, needs maintenance and rehabilitation. It is an expensive 4 star hotel, but it does not look like a 4 star hotel.The bath tub is brownish, the little shower for washing was almost broken, the walls need painting, door has scratches, the rooms are small, the ad pictures seem great but it is definitely all that. They need to rehabilitate surely.

I liked only the location. And the General Manager of the hotel is an amazing, polite, intelligent, hardworking and attentive person. I wish she could improve all the existing issues as soon as possible.

The room was not clean enough: dirty towels, bedsheets, pillowcases. The location is very noisy, even at night. There is no hot water in the sink, which I learned that is quite common in hotels in Brazil, however this is very inconvenient for those who are used to shaving with warm water. Additionally, some of the reception staff are not well trained to attend the guests in a proper and respectful manner: when i asked to fix the drainage issue in the sink, they told they would attend the next day; when i asked to meet the manager, they told ok, but it took two days for them to communicate to the general manager; who indeed is an amazing and intelligent lady, attentive to the details and as soon as she was informed about the issues, she did her best to fix everything. However the staff at the reception needs a proper training and the lady in the restaurant needs a warning for being rude and not attending well to the clients. She was literally rude and by this could even affect the appetite of the evening guests at the restaurant. I wish the general manager could check them all at random times, especially in the evenings and explain that the guests often deserve a respectful attendance and the issues they encounter first belong to the hotel..

The place is central, plenty of restaurants, bars and shops around. The stuff is very nice, helpful and welcoming.

My room was a bit outdated, the shower was a bit weak.

I schedule a room with two beds and they give a room with a king size and another very small i asked if they could change us and they stole us they will do and never happened

location was extremely near the major attractions, room was quiet, hotel personnel were friendly and helpful

Location was great. Room's interior was good.

When we arrived the AC was making a lot of noise. Then they fixed it, but two days later the AC started to leak. Flush malfunctioned (water kept going nonstop).Every time we would go in the floor hallway there would be a lot of equipment or garbage from housekeeping, even outside housekeeping hours.There was some work being done in the floors above, so we could listen the noise during the day inside the room.Wi-fi isn't good enough for video calls.

EXCELLENT LOCATIONBREAKFAST IS BETTER THAN EXPECTED I WENT TO THIS HOTEL 3 TIMES WITJHIN THE YEAR AND THIS TIME ROOMS WERE REALLY BETTER .. NEW PAINT .. NICE AND VERY ROOMY BATHROOMVERY NICE TOP FLOOR WITH POOL AND SAUNA AND WONDERFUL VIEW OF RIO AND THE CORCOVADO

WE HAD A VERY LATE FLIGHT BACK TO USA AND WE SHOULD ASK WHEN DOING THE BOOKING A LATE CHECK OUT, EVEN PAYING A EXTRA NIGHT ..

No deceptions or worries to be honest. If you stay for the afternoon after checkout, there is a small fee to store your luggage and you pay half the price of the parking fee for your car to stay there.

Amazing location. Staff were super helpful - pool and gym too small - rooms clean and perfect for visiting Rio

Breakfast area was crazy but manageable

Its ok very convenient to everyyhing , very close to the beach.but a bit noisy and the bed sheet they don’t change everyday that what it said in my booking.

The sheets were stained, the shower was weak, the floor landings were very warm as they did not have air conditioning to only mention few things

The check in process was quick and easy. The location was near the beach and many restaurants.

Unfriendly staff at reception.Aircon could not stay on due to its loud noice, seems to be the same in all the rooms.Blocked toilet. Quick to try and fix it but it blocked again.Had to ask both mornngs for clean towels. Wet towels were removed but not replaced.Very poor compare to other hotels in this price range.

This was is not easy to rate, as i appreciated the staff but the facilities did not match my expectations. Breakfast was the highlight of my stay, excellent variety and service. Fresh fruits on the table day after day. Like i said staff was excellent, from my cleaning lady, the gentleman who checks room numbers at the restaurant, i witnessed him go above and beyond to other guests while I was checking out at the lobby. Both manager and receptionist staff i interacted with were super friendly and accommodating. Hotel super well located, couple steps away from the beach, and several stores, restaurants, shopping mall, subway, etc.

Bed was comfortable but a little soft for me. My room did not have conventional toilet paper, not sure why but thought this was a thing in Brazil until i got to my next hotel. Toilet was difficult to flush, not well positioned in the bathroom either; i stayed on the 17th floor as well. They do not seem to be the same however.
