Check in was smooth and welcoming. The room was quite sizable and enough for us, plus comforting.

The Breakfast was not pleasant at all.It can be quite frustrating when one has to repeatedly call the reception to request that the gate at the back be opened when exiting the premises. This inconvenience can disrupt one's schedule and cause unnecessary delays. The repeated need to make these calls can lead to feelings of annoyance and impatience, especially if the response from the reception is not prompt. Over time, this issue can become a significant source of frustration for those who frequently need to use the back gate.

Very old & outdated grading and certainly not worth 5* ratingThe bathroom needs an upgrade or at least a very good clean& The same goes for the very thick carpets thru-out

Do not waste your money here. This place is an overpriced, glorified Formula 1 Hotel.

Old bedding & towels.Noisy guests, very loud. This went on well past midnight and no one from the hotel thought to put a stop his behaviour.

Very nice hotel but guys please....REPLACE YOUR TOWELS! It is bad. I booked 2 rooms and the other room complaint was the same...the towels!

The general staff was friendly.

The Wi-fi was weak to non existent, and the manager was very unfriendly.

When we arrived at the hotel, we mentioned to the receptionist that there’s a high possibility that we would extend our stay but we can only confirm in the morning, we called the reception around 7am to notify them that we would be staying another day, they said they would be moving us to another executive room similar to the one we were in, we mentioned that we would still love to stay in the same room but they mentioned that somebody had insisted on that particular room so we moved out, upon us arriving in the other “executive room”, we realized it gave nothing similar to the previous one we were in and we asked how come the rooms are classified as executive yet they don’t offer same amenities and experiences, the receptionist was so rude to my husband, instead of trying to reason with us as to why the rooms are so different yet the pricing is the same, she basically just said to us we should take the room or leave.

The room was spacious.

I think a WI-FI extender is need for the rooms at the back, the signal was weak. My colleauges were not satisfied with breakast aswell, I didnt eat as i had to head out before them.

It is very beautiful staff is very friendly and helpful. The place to stay in Bloemfontein, will be back thanks.

The cost of food is too high whereas the food is too little.

The room that I chose has coach which it wasn't there. The towels were very very old and the bed is not comfortable. They must replace the beds and towels. I was looking for something that fell under the bed; ??the was lot and lot of dirt under the bed. Iyooo I didn't expect that.

I have been staying at Anta Boga every time I visit Bloemfontein. I like the place a lot. The rooms are spacious, the location is quite perfect and the staff there is super friendly and helpful.

They don't serve lunch

Some white lady does not greet people, is like she gets bored when she sees black customers

All ameniities and facilities that we exoected were there.Even though it's an old hotel it is taken well care of.The rates are reasonable..

The shower in our room was very small

Lovely spacious room , with balcony . Very clean with secure parking . The bathroom was large and luxurious.

Mattresses could be upgraded.

The reception of staff was warm, the room was comfortable, and the balcony was good, as it a hot season. also the facilities in the room were user friendly and effective.

Next time maybe it would be polite to provide two sets of bathroom goodies e,g shower cap, bath gels/shampoo etc. because a mother and a daughter might like to share a room. Also it would be appreciated if a client is informed about inclusion/exclusion of breakfast at the time of check-in to avoid confusion.

Lovely facility and beautiful room and bathroom

The food at the restaurant was inedible. We spent R 600 on a meal for two, excl wine, but had to leave the food on our plates. The manager was unavailable to address our problem. We sent a mail to let the manager know abou our experience, but haven’t heard anything back. We had a lovely stay, but the restaurant needs to make sure that all their chefs are trained to at least make basic food.

It‘s aesthetic, serene environment, beautiful & spacious room.

I stayed 1 night - cannot state what is there not to like.

The location was good, especially the gated parking for our bakkie with loaded trailer

Oh dear, this poor place must have been lovely when it was built, but now, sadly, the maintenance is severely lacking. They are short staffed and seem to be trying to cut corners everywhere. The lamps didn't work, the plug points didn't work...the shower needed a good scrub

Close to the city and university. Big spacious bedroom.

Overall feel that it is a little rundown. Bathroom floor tiles are lifting and hollow. Shaver are extremely small and water pressure not great. Towels need replacement.
