- Spectacular hotel. Blissful stay. We were given a complimentary upgrade into a Suite which was stunning. Complimentary wine tour was amazing - learning about Pais old vines followed by an extremely generous tasting of their wines. Hot tub made of an old wine barrel and beautiful pool area with views over the vineyards. Fantastic home cooked dinner and breakfast. One of the most amazing hotel stays of our lives.
Cons -
- Lovely place and fabulous staff; just had a problem getting into the property, need to call reception to open gates but cell coverage is very poor. Other than that really wonderful stay.
- The dinner meal was poor quality, part of it was too cold and the meat was so tough that it was almost inedible. There was no choice on the menu: this could have been sent prior to our visit.The "luxury" room was close to the kitchen, so not very quietNo effort had been made for us to enjoy the history of the vineyard or of the house, and the tour of the vineyard was poor
