Radisson Blu Grand Hotel Tammer, Tampere

The breakfast buffet is truly excellent. Besides being very extensive, it has the best selection of lactose free options I¿ve seen at any hotel (thanks!). A really great way to start the day.

I loved the location and the hotel itself had the rare beautiful "old world" and yet modern feel to it. And the breakfast was exceptional in choice and variety encompassing some traditional Finnish aspects which was greatly appreciated. The staff working the breakfast shift were extremely polite and helpful too.

I had a single room which although small,was functional . It had an in-room safe and mini bar fridge . The single bed was uncomfortable for a six foot two man and I nearly fell out of it a few times. I did like the bathroom which again had the old world feel with modern functionality.I was amazed that none of the frontdesk staff, including the frontdesk manager, knew where the Tampereen Stadion Ratina was and did not know that the U20 European Athletic Championships were being held there from Aug 7-10th. A big enough event in the beautiful city of Tampere.

Breakfast location and service was good. Rice porridge very tasty.

A beautiful building in a perfect location but more attention needs to be paid on the cleanliness: room dusty, bathroom sink dusty, carpet outside room not vacuumed.

Location, classic interior, quiet spaces away from the foyer, good size room

The location is very close to the center and breakfast is pretty good.

There is definitely room for receptionist to improve. We stayed in many hotels across the world. The receptionist in here definitely make people feel very uncomfortable. The fake politeness and talk just like robot. We understand production line training exist in the big chain hotels.but in hospitality industry been real hospitality is the way to keep going.

Lovely old historic building in the centre of the city. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great hotel with nice facilities, unique.Perfect location also with kids as there is a huge playground very close by and the hotel restaurant has nice kids menu.

The only minus thing for us was moving with a stroller and we where advised to use the restaurant door downstairs to move up and down as main lobby only has stairs. (several) However the restaurant was not open all the time so it was quite inconvenient first go and ask someone to open the door from reception and only then be able to access the hotel.

Beautiful old building and gorgeous old furniture. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. I really like the background music. I even had a big balcony!

No air conditioning or air flow in rooms, rooms were a little tight.

Dirty

Upon arriving at the hotel, I discovered that the room I was given was in an appallingly dirty condition. I immediately contacted the hotel staff, hoping for a quick resolution. However, despite their apologies, they refused to even clean the room, which left me both puzzled and disappointed. I reached out to Booking.com customer support, hoping their intervention would help, but unfortunately, even after they contacted the hotel, there was no response to my complaint.The day after I checked out, I received two messages from the hotel. In the first, they informed me that the manager was not available and that they couldn’t assist me. In the second, they claimed they could have offered me another room. However, for some reason, this offer was never made when it was needed. Such a level of service is unacceptable and leaves a deeply unpleasant impression. It was truly disgraceful.

I did like bathtub and there was water kettle with coffee and tea in the room.

Good location. This is a historical hotel with a tradition dating back to 1930’s.

The lobby, restaurant and rooms could use refurbishment. The art deco decor is quirky.

It’s old and has its charm however it needs new carpets, painting and other decorations

It’s okay but need facelifting.
