Factoria Hotel

The decor is so unique. The hotel staff is very accommodating and eager to please. The food is phenomenal. The room is beautiful. Highly recommended.

The hotel was beautiful and felt like an authentic factory from the last century, The location was very close to stores, coffee shops, and drinking locations.

Shower floor was a bit slippery, and I would recommend grab bars or add strips. My only complaint was more about Asuncion, and the general lack of trash cans in the city and sidewalks which are often in disrepair. Up the street people seemed to leave trash and beer cans everywhere. While this is not a complaint about the hotel, I hope they can apply pressure to improve cleanliness in the city and improve walkability, which will increase tourism.

The Hotel is absolutely gorgeous, the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, clean and the beds are super comfortable.

Absolutely stunning property in a great area of Asunción, half way between the old town and the airport. Excellent design and decor with great rooms (very comfortable beds) and a very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

The antique decor and history of the building was fascinating. The staff were very helpful and the complementary breakfast was amazing. We felt like we had gone back in time and were the main character in a movie! It is a must if you are in Asuncion!

Construction noise in the street during the day, party street noise at night. Not noticeable from our room thankfully but may be a nuisance for other guests.

Great building and comfy rooms.You were able to take your breakfast in the restaurant, pool or even the bedroom.Its in a quitter area of Recoletta.

Check-out at 10AM is too early and unheard of for a for a 5 star hotel.For a hotel that size, the gym did not have enough equipment.

Just an amazing place! A great concept… a hotel to make it look like it was refurbished from an old factory… it was so beautiful!

What an absolute gem ! We truly loved the lofty style and all the remnants of the time of the original factory as well as additions that matched. Beautiful garden and what a breakfast. Perfect service!

I would just love to have a water kettle in the room. So I had to go and ask for hot water.

Service inconsistent but no real issue.

This was a welcome stay whilst visiting Asunción.it’s a 4-star though I would offer 5 star plus for the architecture and attention to detail, the consistency of the food, large rooms, and not least the service.The place is well air-conditioned during the very hot January days ( hot till end of Feb).It’s location is on a quiet side street: truly an oasis. It’s close to a very popular cafe (Acá) that also offers some history. There are other small boutiques close by and shopping del Sol is around 10 mins walk away.Front desk was pleasant and all restaurant staff attentive. The breakfast is served on a tray and is complete: you can add eggs any style. They even made me a frappe coffee on request.The rooms are large and we tried two rooms over 3 nights, first being around 40 sq.meters. On the last night we tried the suite that is twice as large. We felt the standard was good enough and were a little drowned in the suite. This offers a bath and shower.Wandering around the hotel I felt a sense of comfort and appreciated all the architectonics.The pool offered some respite even though biting bugs are ever present. There are bug repellent sprays left on every table so I wasn’t dissuaded from spending some moments there. There are many sitting rooms you can find some serenity and absorb the extraordinary ambiance of this place.The Ophelia restaurant was wonderful. We ate at least once a day there. The soup ( Sirubi/fish) was full flavoured and well spiced. There is a good choice of dishes to suit almost all tastes and the room service was prompt.Congratulations to all who worked hard to make this one of the best hotel experiences in all my travels !I will be recommending Factoria to friends.The owner is from Argentina and has a similar style in a northern Argentinian province. Perhaps another time .. thank-you :)

Staff was very friendly. Ugo went above and beyond to give us tips about the country and the city. Breakfast is also good quality and the beds are very confortable and the rooms very confortable.

We had dinner at the hotel the first evening. The food is not to the hotel standards. It requires a lot of improvement. I wouldnt have dinner there again.

Great interior design, good food and terrific service

Adriana was so sweet at check-in and check out. The hotel room is beautifully decorated and spacious. Also, the food at the onsite restaurant is delicious! Including breakfast!

Currently, a construction project is directly across from the hotel.

This hotel was a dream. What an imaginative repurpose the factory. The decor is top notch, the beds sublime and staff are fantastic.Onsite restaurant is wonderful also.

The staff was bad. We stayed there at 16. The room was not ready. We need to wait 1 hours because they are boutique hotel according the attender.
