Riverside Motel Jelgava

Good facilities. Spacious room with fridge and ventilator. Good options for affordable price and good location. Friendly staff. Provided brochures with information about Jelgava city and the region.

Would strongly suggest to clean more thoroughly - especially inside the couch. Otherwise was clean enough.Room could be better ventilated. Bedside tables were from metal- it makes too much sound in the night to take anything from it or put on it.

Spacious bed, fridge was working well. TV with my own hdmi worked great!

I wish there was a bit hotter shower water. A few stains in the carpets but we managed regardless.

The quality of the room was on the high level, furniture inside our (49 euro) room was much better than in some expensive (260 euro) German hotels. And the size of the bed is shockingly big and comfortable at the same time!

?The place is beautiful, the best experience I ever had!And the price is so cheap, but the room inside is luxurious! I am ready to recommend it to anyone ! And don't be afraid of the word "motel" in the hotel's name. I would also recommend the owner to change the name of the place to "JELGAVA RIVERSIDE GUEST HOUSE", or "JELGAVA RIVERSIDE HOTEL". World "motel" maybe can scare some clients away

This is a nice place for travelers who don't like crowded places and big cities. It is an excellent stay for nature lovers and cross country travellers, bicycle Riders. A small shrimp is located 500 m from the motel. Bigger ones allocated 4 to 5 km away,

The best thing about the stay, without a doubt, is the friendliness and friendliness of the staff. The free Wi-Fi is also quite good and the heating works perfectly.

The accommodation is not very well connected to nearby supermarkets or to the central station or the city centre. The shared kitchen has a lot of kitchenware to use, although it is very worn and dirty. The bathroom has a kind of plastic mat that is super uncomfortable and the television is not configured.

Great for a short stay. Feels very authentic Soviet era. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cheap, very soviet looking place, but with everything you need to stay at night. We even stayed one more night, because it’s so cheap and wasn’t bad. Easy 24/7 check in/out, helpful managers, only minus that oldest spoke only russian, could be problem for non russian speakers (although he was very friendly). Could be cleaner, we found empty bottle under the sofa ? and walls are very thin, but sheats was clean, bed was very comfortable and shower hot, so noting to complain about. Would be great if there was kettle in room, but as I understand you can got hot water somewhere outside of room.

Had to wait at 7 PM for 45 minutes. Were told, that room was not ready. Noisy outside, noises coming from room upstairs. Kitchen really greasy. TV is just a box on the wall with Youtube. No tea and coffee and glasses and kettle in the room as promised.

My room that I booked was taken so i needed to wait about 45min until they figure out what to do...then they gave me bigger one. Furniture old, room smelly, bed sheets didnt look fresh...but for 27€ its good i guess ..

A very clean and peaceful place. The bed was comfortable and I had a lovely view of the river. I loved having a refrigerator in my room.There is also a nice kitchen.The owner is very nice.

You are quite far from downtown. Ok if you have a car but you can feel stranded if you don't.Fortunately a bus can pick you up right in front but it doesn't run very often.It was very hot when I was there so a fan would have been nice.

In the middle of the nowhere, god forgotten motel with the picturesque view to the river. Quite surroundings.

I had mixed feelings because of some reviews on Google. But we had absolutely no issue with the place, we checked in at about 22 without any problems, the place was clean, and the owners were nice.

Perfect place for sleep a night. Confortable bed. Unbeatable price and quality was pretty good. There is some soviet charm in this place. Stuff was really nice and helpful.

This is one of those Soviet-style motels where you can get a bit of nostalgia if you are from Eastern Europe or an interesting timecapsule experience if you are from the West. Nevertheless the place is well-kept and I found it to be very comfortable and slept really well, it is in such a quiet location too. A bit far from sights so good if you are driving or cycling.

No place to eat or drink in the facilities. Access to the closest shop is around 10 min car drive.The room and building are very outdated.
