Location was good. Staff was nice.

The first room we were given had the door frame broken.

No staff when checking out and no staff when checking in. Had to wait an hour to check in.Rooms are small but nice. Beds not too comfortable.

Stayed several times there, good location!?

Ants... too many...???? and shower was leaking...

No hot water in shower.(have I thinking before) Have,but have to wait long time(about 15min),I did't know this.

Hotel Zemgale is located in closest vicinity to Ice Hall of Jelgava. During my stay there were no competitions in the Ice Hall, so the hotel was quiet and suitable for my overnight. There is a hypermarket MAXIMA in 5-minute walking distance that really helps for travelers to refill the food and drink reserves for the rest of travel. Personnel of the hotel were honest and helpful.

In my room I could hear a lot of noises from neighboring rooms and corridor. As far as I was very tired I could asleep soon, however in normal situation the noises would be pretty annoying. Unfortunately, I did not check the list of appliances in the room upon booking the room. Because of that I was a bit surprised that there was no frigidaire included. For resolving the need for overnight cooling food products with me, the receptionists suggested to place them in the fridge in the locker room. Thans for that.

Nice, quiet, and clean hotel near the city center. A lot of parking place, reasonably good breakfast, good price-performance ratio.

there was no hot water, but I think it was the aftermath of the recent hurricane, it was hot outside, so the cold water didn't cause much inconvenience, a cold shower in the heat is cool

There is a good breakfast, lots of sports activities and bowling.

Poor sound insulation. The springs in the bed I slept in were sticking to the surface.

We booked the room already in the evening when we arrived at the place. Together we had a one-year-old daughter. We were greeted by a very kind and helpful administrator. Everything was fast and smooth. We got a comfortable room. Breakfast selection is good.

Close to the city centre,

I haven't seen breakfast. Nobody helped me. They just smoked outside and didn't let me know where I could get a cup of coffee.

Jelgava is an interesting place that probably not many tourists go to, but the palace is quite nice and Hotel Zemgale is reasonably close to it. When I arrived, I had forgotten that breakfast is included, which was a pleasant surprise. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. Overall a good deal.

The staff is not very proficient in English. About the breakfast: There was a decent choice of things (including warm food), but in my opinion there was too much meat (which was of questionabe quality). I would suggest offering more fresh vegetables.

The hotel located around 30min walk from the train station. Near 5 min walk is supermarket and from 5min to 10min some cafe and restorans. Up to 10min walk to the river side to relax. Good breakfast. Free car parking. Good place stay in Jelgava and enjoy.

TV in room

Cold in room, no heater. Old shower cabin, don’t close. No feet towel in shower. There was a large group at breakfast, the hot dishes were not replenished, there were guests who had to make do with what was left.

it is very old , it have quiet small rooms . it was very loud , so I find this look like old students dorms .

Only issue was a party on premises going on past 1am one night with the music strongly heard in room and disturbing sleeping

This is actually not proper hotel, it´s kind of accommodation option for those who will be a part of sport event in big sport hall next door, either as a participant or a guest. My room was quite shabby, no sound proofness at all.

Had a delicious breakfast.

The price corresponds to the level of comfort. it smelled of sewage and there were not enough night lamps near the bed.
