Clarion Hotel Wisby

The Clarion was a wonderful place to stay. The location was close to everything, the staff were friendly, the facilities were clean. I would say the only thing we were a little disappointed with was the size of the room and the view of a wall. Everything else including the bar/restaurant, grounds, pool/spa, location to shops and restaurants was perfect! The breakfast selection was traditional and fresh, they even prepared a breakfast bag to go on our last day. Would highly recommend the Clarion!

If I was being nit picky, I woule say the rooms were a little small and our view of a garden wall wasn't preferable.

I loved my stay in Visby and this hotel was a big part of the reason why. It was in the heart of beautiful Visby, had wonderful amenities, and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. I highly recommend this hotel!

Absolutely nothing.

Breakfast was excellent. Pavilion was nise. Location is perfect. Stuff was welcoming. Dining restaurant was great.

One of the rooms was dirty, dusty (in the upstairs bed area). In-room stairs were not comfortable. Pictures in the home page does not reflect the truth. Poor value for money.

The gym was very dirty. It is important toKeepIt clean. Used paper towels on the floor , very, very dirty.

The breakfast was amazing. Hotel and room were lean, clean, clean. Swimming pool was unique and fun to swim in, the water temp was just right.The staff were friendly. The location was perfect. We loved most everything about the Clarion

The air conditioning functioning but wasn't very strong in second room we had we for the kids.

Great location in an old building, very friendly helpful staff, good breakfast buffet, clean room, lovely little pool below street level and a sauna too. I had dinner at their restaurant too and it was wonderful food with staff giving good recommendations.

The hotel is both near the port and very close to the old city. The room (with sea view) was comfortable, with good lightning. The breakfast was really good - lots of options. Inside pool was the best, so much fun for the family. Staff very helpful. And the bar, has good options and good music.

Parking space is limited, you have to book in advance (was not aware).

The hotel was very close to the port, roughly 10-15 min walk away.There were many parking areas close-by for when we rented a car, maybe 5 min away.The breakfast was amazing, they had a huge selection available. I also saw gluten free and lactose free items but as I don't need these myself then I can't say how big the selection for both was.The day before we had to leave we went to ask the reception about breakfast the next day as breakfast started at 6:30 but we had to leave a 6:15 and they said they offer takeaway breakfast as long as they know it before-hand (they also ask about allergies and food restrictions). We had no allergies and so we got a yogurt with muesli, boiled eggs with kaviar paste, water, apples.The staff were super friendly and helpful, they even gave us a map with recommended areas marked in Visby and on the overall island as they had asked if we'll be travelling around by car as well. We had done research on this before too but this was super helpful in finding other places we had missed as well.We loved the design of the room, the bathroom was especially cool.We had a limited view to the seaside and port, but the old city in the middle still looks good and overall it was very nice. Good for checking the weather too :)

Only issue we had was that the blanket was too warm for my partner, but we also didn't check with the reception if they'd have another option available so it might be completely on us :)

Really cozy place at a great location in the centre of Visby. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable.

Perfect location, absolutely beautiful room, very friendly staff, great breakfast.

The room was not properly clean. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned at all, furniture in the room was very dusty, lots of dust under/behind the bed. A shame because it would have been perfect otherwise!

Rooms are a bit rundown and needs a upgrade and the cleaning team forgot to take dirty tavles and cups with them

Room was very nice, spacious and tidy. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with great choice and variety.

The location and the building(s) of the hotel are impressive. The staff is extremely friendly - thank you! I enjoyed the old-fashioned style of my room, which still included all the modern amenities. Even the slightly worn items in the room added charm in this context. However, this did not fully apply to the bathroom area, where I had mixed feelings. While it was clean and nothing was particularly bad, certain details were noticeable.

Unusual for this part of the world, there was no fish served at breakfast - or to be more precise, there was something, but it isn’t worth mentioning. That said, the breakfast overall was very good. Maybe a little care should be given to the bathroom.

Perfect location, good food and infrastructure

It's a pitty not able to test spa and sauna. It was nit working on Monday.

At breakfast limited choice of fruit but good bread and delicious jam. Good service and food in spectacular main dining room. Staff all pleasant and helpful, especially about change of departure date (unlike Booking.com)

Primitive shower arrangement in bath room.

Loved the spa and pool. We left for the airport at 4am, and the staff very kindly offered us a breakfast doggy bag to take with us.

Great location, professional staff and a fantastic breakfast.
