Pros +
- Fantastic location, lots of trails nearby, double room is cute
- Breakfast, staff, opening hours, location, services all perfect
- Location is really nice, very close to the sandy swimming beach and just a couple of kilometers from the Visby city centre. The overview of the apartment was nice and clean with quite new kitchen and kitchenware. The beds, pillows and blankets were pretty new.
Cons -
- Need to bring your own (instant) coffee or tea, no USB wall outlets
- Twin room didnt have AC, can get hot in the summer. Luckily there is a openable window.
- Some of the interior was really dated (bathroom), beds were really soft. We had a huge group of teenagers living in the next cabin and they were really noisy during the whole evening and spitting everywhere (a game they were playing?). As some/most people clean the apartments themselves before leaving, it's maybe a good idea to check the apartment (below the beds etc) if you have small kids or pets with you, so as not to have them eat something that is dangerous to them.

Breakfast, quiet place
Too far away from Visby, to rent a bike was very expensive-180 sek per day!
Wonderful breakfast, friendly staff, great facilities, nice location.
Very small, very warm, and very noisy.
Great location, helpful staff, bike rental and sports equipment. Lovely beach across the street
From mid August onwards all facilities including restaurants are closed.Small playgrounds for kids
The location is close to the see. Very nice deck area.
It was a bit further our of the town but it can be both a pro or a con depending on ones needs.
Facility and location were great, lots of nature in front of the sea
The TV could be a smart TV and the prices at the restaurant could be more reasonable
Very close to Visby and within walking distance of a small beach. The personal was helpful.
Parking was not included and was subject to availability. Every cabin should have a parking spot secured and included in the price.
Lovely staff who were always happy to help Nice big site with hammocks, playground and football pitch. Beach with pier also which was nice Great bikes for hire, we took them north and south to visit beach clubs and Visby old town (20 min cycle)Beds were comfy and the double rooms have nice little terraces included which get the sun
Rooms could be updated including the bathroom as it was very basic. If you stay here it’s likely you won’t use the room much, though!
The location was good as it was near to the innerstaden area where most of the Medival events were happening.
The restaurant food was very bad quality and pricy. We ordered two pastas goat cheese and tomato based and both of dishes were terrible. You have to arrange your own towel, bedsheet, pillow covers, quilt cover, toilet papers.
Very nice. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.Looks a bit far from the city, but the walk through the beach is so nice that it feels closer.
It was a perfect place for 5 of us and was amazing view and facilities around. We were happy about the beach and the walk around places the quite and was very safe.
There was no Dishwashing soap available and the people who left it before did not keep clean utensils which was not good. There was no free parking for the car which we had to pay ( 160 kr for 3 days)to include cleaning we had to pay 1600 kr more bed linens & towels were not included which was not clearly mentioned in the Booking ( should be written while booking the place)
It is a nice location and the scenery is wonderful. The little yellow cabin has seen its' best days and is really worn out. Staff were very helpful and kind, thank you!
There was no toaster and the microwave was so old it did not heat anything. There were no insect nets, so everytime we opened the door, the wasps would enter. All in all, for this price level there are way better options on the island. This place should be half of what they're charging. Why make guests wait until 3pm to check in if everyone cleanes after themselves and checks out at 11am? What happens during the 4 hours? Not cleaning, that's for sure.
Good location nearby the city but at the same time in a quiet area next to a beach. Breakfast was good, and the possibility to rent bikes for the day.
The cleaning standard was very low - dirty windows, floors and some spider nets hanging from the ceiling. Ok, it’s a camping style of property, but the double room is positioned as a hotel room.Room cleaning is offered every 3 days, which is not ok. It gets very warm in the summer, and there’s no air conditioning. A small room gets heated as much as a sauna. Also, some renovations would be needed, as the property is old and not very well kept.
It was close to the city, it only took a couple of minutes to get there by car. Never tried to walk there but the staff said it would take about 30 minutes so that's not too bad either. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean. You could buy some simple things at the front desk which was a bit overpriced perhaps but very handy when you needed something quickly! All in all a decent visit :)
Sheets, towels and breakfast should have been included with the price, we slept at a different place the day before with 1/4 the price and they had included sheets, towels and breakfast. There were a lot of young children there, some used their kick bikes on the wooden walkway so it echoed through the apartments, but when they went to sleep it got quiet. That's more the fault of the parents and less of the resort. The floors had seen its best days but it wasn't really an issue. Some lack of cleaning supplies, gloves perhaps? Since some of the cleaning stuff we should have used had warning text on it.Did any of this ruin the vacation? No, it didn't :)
We had the pleasure of booking a 4 bedroom sea-view apartment with a large verandah and full kitchen. Lots of space for a big group with 8 single beds and the bathroom facilities cleverly split in two (shower in one room, toilet and basin in the other so that multiple people can use the facilities simultaneously). Lots of space to socialize in comfort around the dining room table in the well-equipped kitchen and lounge with generous couch and TV. We especially enjoyed having dinner and breakfast at the 8 seater table on the verandah while overlooking the sea only metres away. To start the day with a quick swim from the jetty just opposite your accommodation, and then returning moments later to have a coffee on the verandah overlooking the water felt like a dream holiday! The sunsets from here are to die for and something I alreaday long for now that we are home again. The added facilities like restaurant, volleyball, sauna, grilling areas, bicycles for hire and lots more, just adds to the convenience. The location puts this accommodation on the next level, right on the water and sandy beach, with a footpath in both directions for long walks next to the ocean. Walking distance to the city wall and harbour, and all the sight-seeing and food-options the old town offers. As this resort is just north of Visby it is perfectly situated for exploring the north or south of the island. Safe and affordable parking available a few metres away from the apartment, and a recycle station right on the premise to get rid of all the trash upon checkout. Super easy to clean the apartment when checking out as they provide a short and easy list of what they expect and all the cleaning materials needed. Great vibe across the entire resort, really felt like the best holiday ever. Exceptional experience, we are already booked for next year same time!
Nothing comes to mind, it met and exceeded all our expectations.
The location is really nice having a beach in front of the property, specially nice in the evening when you go to the sauna and then take a bath at the beach. We met some other people staying in the hotel at the sauna and had a pleasant experience. I said we wouldn’t be able to eat the breakfast because we were checking out early in the morning and they prepared a bag with a complete breakfast the evening before, which we got happy about.
There was no basic products like shampoo. There was no AC so it was really warm before we’d go to sleep. The absolute WORST thing was the parking, you have to pay for it, even though the hotel owns it and they have a big property. It feels like they try to make profit as much as they can, when they stay is not cheap itself either. We left the car n the parking area at Saturday evening not knowing we had to pay for the parking and got a ticket for 600kr! Like how can there be securitas so late in a private property on a Saturday. Very unsatisfied from that experience. The prices on the restaurant ant excessive, a burger 215sek?? No thanks.
Amazing sea view with gorgeous sunset! Very close to Visby city and other popular places
Despite reporting the problem with the wifi on day 2, it got never fixed so our entire week long stay were without wifi. Furthermore, I was communicated before the stay by the staff (did specifically call the property for this) that we could borrow grill at the property so we did not bring ours. When we went to borrow one, there was no proper grill left to borrow and we got a supermini, uncleaned and unpractical one which we had to use for the whole stay…
The location is good. A short walk to the beach and a long bridge out into the sea (the water is very shallow for a long way, and quite a sharp stony bottom, so using the bridge is advisable!)
The apartment could have done with a lick of paint, but it was clean and functional.
