    Pros +

    • Budget hotel near the Ryd neighbourhood in Linkoping where most of the students of the LiU have their dorms. Walking distance from LiU. Comfortable room and good breakfast.
    • This hotel was absolutely fabulous. The room was exceptionally clean and modern. I loved the heated floors in the bathroom. I borrowed a bike for most of the days I stayed here. The bike had between 1 and 3 gears and worked for around Linkoping. I took the bike to the university and to downtown. The location was excellent.. nearby the university and also nearby my son's apartment.
    • The breakfast was great with a wide range to choose from. The staff was super helpful and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place for families

    Cons -

    • During our stay at the hotel, renovation work was being carried out in the lobby. There was a bit of noise and a lot of dust that was carried around on our shoes to our room.
    • The breakfast was a little high priced.. which is why I didn't have it. Also, the second week the price really increased so I had to move to a different hotel location in the city.
    • Maybe it should be possible to have breakfast before 7am if you are travelling for business and need to leave early

Hotel was pet friendly, our 2 dogs were comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Hotel very easy to find coming off the E4 motorway.

The restaurant had a small choice. Unfortunately it was fries with everything when we were hoping for boiled or mashed potatoes (something non-greasy).

I liked the location, facilities, cleanliness and friendly staff.

Although all things are fine. It will be much better to include more vegetarian options in breakfast.

We loved the swimming pool and sauna. The hotel is really child friendly. Staff very kind. Good breakfast and parking was a plus!

    Restaurant was closed on Sunday

The hotel had lovely clean rooms, the restaurant was very nice, has a great selection for breakfast. Shame the TVs only have the most basic of channels, it would have been nice to see at least YouTube as an option, especially as it only recognises hdmi input for a laptop.

Its location was excellent for our trip

Outdated and room didn’t feel 100% clean. Sheets had stains.

We had a dog room, that was at the ground floor so that was perfect. Nice staff and great diner and breakfast. we stayed just one night during travel, but great location for that.

it was hot in the room and the windows could open, but didn't had a hook or something that you could put it open a little bit at night.

Good location right by a service station. The staff were great - not only were they super friendly but they also received a package for me and passed it on (I left my kindle in a rental car!) which I am supremely grateful for. 24 hour reception was a godsend when we rolled in very late at night.I really liked the flip down bunk beds, what a great concept!

There's no AC - and while I understand it's been an unseasonably warm summer it would have been ideal to have. However, the hotel did provide a fan in our room and the windows opened so we made do! The facilities are a bit dated but that's not really a big deal as everything was clean and well managed.

Very welcoming to dogs. Excellent evening buffet at dinner and excellent breakfast.

    Breakfast finished quite early!

Booking the pool was nice - the kids really enjoyed it being less crowded.

The restaurant dinner meal was not very good. Also the children’sMeal came with a juice box - which did not feel sustainable to us - given that juice is available at breakfast with no packaging.

This is Factory style hotel in small city. Not a normal Scandic style.

    Passable

Our room smelled damp and weird, so we had to keep the window open. There was some sort of party/festival nearby the night of our stay, and it was incredibly loud until 4am, even with earplugs. We both slept very poorly.

    7DileepPosted on: 4-29-2024

Breakfast is great, a lot of varieties to choose from.Pleasant restaurant and cozy swimming for kids.

Airflow circulation could've been better, I couldn't sleep well because of poor ventilation. Otherwise everything is good.

    The sauna was cold
