What a fun place to stay! We really LOVED all the references to Fawlty Towers in the lobby. The family room we booked was HUGE, with two separate bedrooms and a large comfy bathroom. Beds were super comfy as well. As we came in August, the hotel provided us with fans for our rooms, which was a nice touch. The breakfast bar was so generous and delicious. There were vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options clearly labelled for guests. Both continental (cold) and hot breakfast items were available. I particularly liked the "ginger shots" - I put one in my apple juice and felt great all day. The staff were warm and welcoming. The restaurant space was both light and airy - I would have happily spend more time there. And it is RIGHT across the street from the train station - it literally took us less than 2 minutes to get to the hotel once we got off the train.

We were on the first floor (which was fine) but it was a very warm day, and when we kept the window open to get some air, it was a bit noisy in one of the bedrooms. I don't think this would normally be a problem if Sweden wasn't having such an unusally warm summer.

Staff was super friendly and a very nice place to stay. Very clean and a charming hotel highly recommended.

The single room is really small, but it was just fine for one night. But it was very affordable, and across the street from the train station. No complaints great place to stay.

There was no one there (staff or other travelers). Construction materials in the hall way. Apparently the building was going through a renovation during my stay.

Very nice high quality breakfast with everything you need. Charming, lovingly prepared old building. Parking situation perfekt, E-chargers available.

The location was perfect, just in front of the train station. Room was rather big, much much bigger than the description of the quadruple room gave a idea. It was 2 separate bedrooms, so ended up being very comfortable! Beds were very comfortable and the area was really quiet actually.Reception personnel where really helpful when i forgot my room key and wallet inside the room.

Maybe a better choice for gluten-free bread, but that's hardly something hotels can control easy!

Perfect location.Loved the history of the building, hotel and the theme. Breakfast was extensive, beautifully laid out and the dining area and conservatory is wonderful to sit sun have a coffee and start the day.

The location is excellent - close to train station and busses, as well as centrally located in town. It is an old building with a lot of charm. I had a very big nice room. There was a nice place in the restaurant to get coffee or a glass of wine.

The location on the edge of town is within walking distance of the city center. Breakfast was good and the room was nice. Nothing extraordinary but nice all the same. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in an older building and sound insulation must not have been a consideration. It was quite noisy. Also, there's a concert venue nearby. This was VERY loud until about midnight.

Really enjoyed my stay. Hotel was within walking distance of city center. Really enjoyed the old-style/quirky furnishings and atmosphere of the hotel. They offered a nice breakfast. Beds were very comfy. Would stay here again.

The hotel is great and I love to come there ever again, great room with nice view, breakfast with wide selection and very helpful staff. You almost fall into the central station. Nice design!

As almost everywhere in Sweden you have same beds that are too soft for me to sleep really well. But so it is a problem of me and not of the hotel.

Dinner options are limited ...but don't let that put you off because there are loads of local restauarnts and cafes and Fawlty Towers is a great place to stay.
