We had to taxi to the hotel from the train station, but it was a short ride. Mostly uphill. We were able to walk TO the train station after we got acclimated to the area. It was an easy downhill trek.

Room, bed and bathroom too small, rooms may be very far from the elevator and stairs therefore not practical.

I was annoyed that there were no free use of any pools at the hotel - they list it as having three pools - indoor pool, outdoor pool and roof pool, but the indoor pool was broken and the outdoor and roof was thesame pool and cost 200 kr extra per person and hour - for a family of 4 that is 800 - it also said on booking "It features free WiFi, as well as a rooftop relaxation area with a terrace and hot tub", which does not indicate that the rooftop pool comes at additional cost. I chose the hotel based on the availability of pools, and if i had known that it cost 800 extra to use the only pool available i would have chosen another hotel.

Great care of the small details.Radio was on a music FM channel when I opened the room, warmed my heart and felt more friendly.I got a call reminding of the dinner and kitchen closing time when I got late to check in. Even arranged a plate in case I was late. Saved the night :)A small candy bag at the car window wishing me a safe drive. A sweet taste left in my mouth on my way out.

Parking costs 220Kr, but it's central.

The bacon had a strange test a little like plastic and the scrambled egg was not real scramble eggs or at least did not taste like it.

Vintage atmosphere is superior.A place with history.Very quiet place even for a person with sleep disorder.Close proximity to the city center and bus stops.Very pleasant personnel.The quality/price ratio is superior.The price includes not only breakfast but also dinner. You can't wish more in Sweden for this price.

It appears somewhat smaller/compact/cheaper if compared to photos and assuming the 4 stars, but taking into consideration average prices in Sweden it should be considered quite good.

Noisy restaurant area. The dinner was too simple like a lunch. Expected more fancy.

We booked the hotel for the spa but we’re not informed in advance that only one hour was allowed and that the slot had to be booked at reception. All slots were already booked so we couldn’t use it. Furthermore, the hotel charged 390 kr for two people to use it. For all other hotels we’ve stayed at, the spa was included in the price.

Location and Diner

I booked there thinking I could use the gym facility but it is closed now and won't reopen for several months. The hotel offered me to you a gym from another hotel (10mn walk) but the gym facility there was small and in poor condition.

Free breakfast and dinner and both with a wide variety and of high quality. The room was cosy, kettle, tea and coffee in the room, tea and coffee always available in the lounge, and comfortable lounge as well.

Paid parking for over 200 kr (ca 20 Euros) for a night.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent; the hotel also provided a packed lunch for us to take to the airport as we would be missing breakfast. Location worked for us, and provided parking. Staff were helpful. Afternoon coffee was an unexpected treat.

Rooms were stuffy, as weather was warm. It would have been nice to have some air circulation. There was quite a bit of traffic, so opening the window wasn't a good idea. The design of the shower could have been improved. I suggest a flexible addition to the bottom of the shower door so the water doesn't go all over the bathroom. This design is common in hotels, but not the best.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean and the staff members were extremely nice and helpful! The included dinner buffet was fantastic, even for myself as a vegan who made a last-minute booking. The breakfast was great, too, again "even" from a vegan's perspective.

Great location and a very comfortable bed. My booking included half board (dinner and breakfast), both were good. Very friendly staff, and fika is offered daily from 3–5 PM. The room was well equipped and comfortable.

My room had no central AC, only a fan, and the window couldn’t be opened. Fine for one night, but could be less comfortable for a longer stay, especially being next to the elevator and stairs.

Super convenient location, including a spacious underground parking garage. Staff was very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome from the start. Breakfast was plentiful and lots to choose from (including an option to freshly bake waffles ?). Dinner was simple but absolutely nothing wrong with that, it was great! Fika was also a nice touch!Finally, rooms were perfect for us. Not particularly big, but also not needed. Instead you get a very comfortable bed, a nice tv and even a small fridge you could put a few items in. Shower was also spacious and very welcome after a long drive. In short, fantastic concept and would definitely re-book if we ever are around. Strongly recommended!
