- Everytime I have stayed there the room rates have been on the pricy side for what you get. Reception close really early so be aware if you have late arrival. Wifi was not working great in the room. The hotel does not really cater for international guests. Everything is in swedish and the tv only have 3-4 local tv channels.

This is a Grand Old Hotel right next to the river in quiet Falkenberg. I booked last minute and was suprised how nice the single traveller room was. Soft linens nice towels. Clean bathroom with hot water. Good wifi and friendly staff. Bar and and breakfast downstairs were convenient.

The breakfast was ok, even though I missed more dessert options - nu buns or rolls for example. The location is at the very heart of the city centre - very convenient and alongside beautiful river bank.
The parking spaces are overcrowded - not that easy to find a free spot. The bathroom could have an extraction fan.

We were very satisfied with our stay. Very comfortable beds. Clean and big room with balcony.Very good food and breakfast in the restaurant.Good information about parking and check-in procedures before our arrival.
In the restaurant we got information that they had a lot to do that evening. That was good information because we waited for staff that never showed up after we finished our meal, so we left and paid without getting desserts.
