Quality Hotel Vanersborg

Good breakfast, clean, ample parking, quiet, good facilities, nice lobby,

Spa is a bit basic, small pool, rooms slightly outdated.

Good room, window could be opened. Good breakfast.

My room had an annoying air system that was non-stop on with an irritating background noise. I deducted my rating from an 8 to a 7.

Great hotel with great breakfast, relax area with pool. The room was in a great condition and the bed was comfortable. Friendly staff. Local bus goes about every 30 minutes and if you walk a bit there are other bus lines on the other side of the bridge.

Local bus service ends in the night, so walking distance from the city center (music festival) is a bit long.

The regular bed was comfortable (the sofa bed good for kids, would have been a bit hard for adults). The breakfast was very good, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We didn't have the chance to use pool and spa. The restaurant was good. Overall we had a very positive experience.

Both the pool and the spa are open only from 12 (so no early swim before a stroll in town). The hotel is easily accessible from the main access into town, but it is not central (we were there in cold days so walking to the center is not an option).We booked a double delux room where we stayed as a family of four. The space was ok for a couple of nights, but it would have been too packed for staying any longer (no storage, no space to sit.

It was spacious and clean.

Sound proofing isn’t the best and we could hear people from next door and kids running on the corridor.Choice of food/ dinner on Sunday was limited and not well cooked/ not tasty.

Breakfast was real good with plenty of choices.The restaurant had really good food with friendly service and good value

The shower floor sloped the wrong way!!

We loved the spa, pool and sauna. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good value too.We were able to park right outside the main entrance.

Not worth it!

Family room was changed to 2 separate rooms! Breakfast was available just at 7am. Nothing close to clean!!! Shower stinks ! Personal have no sense of humor!

The breakfast was amazing. 9/10 Only missing a proper expresso. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Very clean and spacious hotel room. Peaceful environment.Wifi was good. Water pressure and temperature for the shower was perfect.

The pillows weren't very comfortable. Would have liked the windows to have sheer curtains and not just the black out curtains.There's no proper smokers / vapers area outside.TV doesn't let you cast from your phone which would have been a big plus. The room got a bit hot during the night.You get locked out of the hotel after midnight and have to wait for someone to open the door for you (it took a little longer than expected).

I really enjoyed the view and the water pressure. I'm a stickler for the water pressure.

I didn't like the lack of smoker options, I felt very unaccomodated.

Big well made breakfast, and nice helpful staff. Hotel close to a nature reserve, with walking areas and a bridge. Perfectly acceptable distance from Vänersborg city, with good bus connectivity.

Air quality in my room. No ventilation and a bit smelly. Kept the window wide open for improved quality.

Great looking hotel, clean and great staff. Breakfast was excellent and the dining area big. Overall a very nice hotel.

No ventilation in the room which make it very warm and the air gets bad and uncomfortable to breath. Woke up in the middle of the night and felt like there where no oxygen. Had to sleep with the window open. Dogs constantly barking in the hotel late at night.

The pool and the jacuzzi were amazing. The rooms are sound isolated as the door is quite heavy. Bed is comfy.

The spa happened to be closed while we were staying there.

The hotel room was spacious so we had place for all our luggage. Breakfast was fantastic with a lot of different options! There is a short walk to the lake where you can have a nice little walk. Is not far from the stores and stuff so also nice.

I liked the location and the fact that had a pool that was not very crowded. The breakfast was ok.

The bedroom and bathroom were dusty and the toilet was dirty. The bed and pillows too soft.

- Took a long time for room to be available. - Non-relevant paintings and decorations. Should be a consistent style relevant for Vänersborg.

Large rooms with additional seating area, great pool / hot tub, indoor mini golf and great location to explore Vanersborg.

No air conditioning made the rooms quite warm, but fans were available.

Location was a bit out of town. But quiet which is a plus But a nice walk into town.
