Pros +
- Location, room, staff
- Gym is excellent
- The location near to a free parking (for electric vehicles).
Cons -
- Breakfast could be better
- Nearly lost my balance in the shower as it is in a rounded bathtub.
- It is not really dog friendly, it’s dog tolerant (for 350kr/night in your room), and you are only allowed at the restaurant in the terrace, to the perfect and not windy weather at all (note sarcasm). If we’d known this before we wouldn’t have chosen the hotel or we would have asked someone to take care of the dog for us. Extremely expensive to travel with the dog and being treated like if we had the pest for bringing it with us. Also the wifi hardly worked and the pillows were thinner than a paper. We’re not happy overall.

Excellent gym and friendly staff
A bit outdated rooms
Really nice kitchen and bar. Great outdoor lounge area. Friendly staff in the bar who, upon request created drinks not on the card. Had both lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant. Great location and good parking options in nearby p-house, with lots of charging options for EV’s
Most hotel wants (claims) to green, but it is difficult to help hotels with their ambitions, when there are no good options to hang your wet towels to dry
The breakfast buffet is small, but excellent. Good choices, delicious Danish food. Try the pancakes - they're do-it-yourself.The location is right in the city center, so perfect for everyone looking to be right in the middle of things. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
I spent four nights in the hotel, but my room wasn't made up until the last day before checkout. It wasn't a big issue, or I would have raised it with someone, but it did feel like an oversight.
Really great staff, super friendly. Breakfast was good and the hotel is in a great location.
Not a major issue but there was no fridge in the room.
Good rooms. Silent
The restaurant has recently been downgraded from 4 star to 2.5 star. Breakfast buffet is sad
Jakob was excellent. He warmly greeted us at the front desk and made us feel very welcomed. He cheerfully helped us store our bicycles. A great employee and a credit to your organization.
The noise, but that was beyond the control of the hotel.
The breakfast was very good especially the scrambled eggs All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful The location was very good. Near the square and variety of shops
The bedroom pillow was too soft.
Interior design, cleanliness and professional staff.
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, nice restaurant.
Elevator broke, no cleaning or amenities in room, loud party in rooms. Not family friendly.
Great location and many rooms have pretty views of a small park and fountain. Breakfast is included.
Rooms have extremely minimal amenities (you have to go elsewhere just to iron your clothes), the bath amenities are cheap and paltry and the water in the shower suddenly blasts scalding or freezing. The breakfast was fine, but nothing special. I really expected a lot more for the price. Cheaper rooms in KBH are much nicer than these. The windows don't seal well, letting through a lot of noise and cold in the winter.
The room was a very good size, clean and very comfortable. The staff were all very helpful, pleasant and well mannered. The hotel is in a fantastic location close to everything.
Only one minor downside was the breakfast options were limited.
Location, staff, cleanliness and facilities.
Breakfast was limited.
Located in the beautiful city center of Esbjerg; quiet; small gym; kind and helpful receptionist; good breakfast in a comfy restaurant; great view from the room and English pub below the hotel
Very uncomfortable mattress and pillows
central location, reasonable breakfast, good beds
Not suitable on friday or saturday if you want to sleep before 4.am. Across the hotel is a nightclub that starts at midnight en runs till 4.am. Rooms have no airconditioning and it was hot in the city. Even with windows closed the noise and low bass tones are that loud that it is impossible to sleep when the club is open. To be avoided on weekends.

Location was convenient.Bar staff, and service, was excellent. The selection, and quality, of drinks and evening food was excellent.
The reception staff were not very knowledgeable.I received a parking ticket in their paid parking facility because the registering system was faulty and nobody pre-advised me that i also needed to purchase a parking disc. This disc is not available at the hotel and as I was arriving late in the evening and leaving very early in the morning then it was not possible for me to find one.The breakfast was so poor that I did not eat there on the 2nd morning. The room was very hot even though I turned the thermostat to minimum. The bed was not the expected double, but two singles pushed together and separated - not even an infill to close the gap.The shower pressure was very poor.
Rooms were very clean and well appointed, the bathroom very nice with a roomy shower. The breakfast buffet was small, but well stocked, including an option for fresh waffles. The hotel is centrally located right at Torvet, excellent for local entertainment. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful.
The beds were a little soft for my taste; I prefer a firmer mattress.
