Pros +
- Location, staff, bed and price! It was a great value!
- Location
- We loved the location and the cafe downstairs
Cons -
- Room had slight odor and could use a coat of paint.
- The bathroom looked tired and the sheet didn’t fit with the size of the bed, so we had to keep moving the sheet while sleeping. The key 2 times was desactived due “to contact” with my phone. Some of the personnel on the front desk were not happy with their job as customer service.
- My only complaint was no good way to call the hotel front desk from outside. The only working number is to a call facility that is not familiar with the hotel and its neighborhood.

The hotel is conveniently located 2 blocks from two different main streets. The room clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. Eggs and plain yoghurt would be good additions to the buffer breakfast.
My only complaint was no good way to call the hotel front desk from outside. The only working number is to a call facility that is not familiar with the hotel and its neighborhood.
The shower gets flooded, the bathrooms in the restaurant are dirty The beds are very small and uncomfortable specially in the twin bedrooms
I have stayed at this hotel before. I love how it is conveniently located near subway stops, the main square, smaller stores and all of microcentro pretty much.
The rooms, mostly bathrooms, could use a little extra care and cleaning.
The TV doesn’t work They toll me I have to wait until Monday, was Friday ?Always asking for toilet paper ?
The location was ideal for me to explore the city of Buenos Aires. We were and to walk to most of the attractions. Reception staff were very pleasant, knowledgeable and very patient. I must commend Ignacio for his outstanding service, going over and beyond. I had an I misunderstanding with my Booking.com reservation ad I wanted the suite fur extra room. He was very calm and explained this on paper to me. He is an asset to Mérit San Telmo. Breakfast staff need supervision and lots of training. Dirty tables, no cups and plates ( guests had to continually ask for them) there was no English breakfast tea for 2 mornings. The watermelon were large chunks of fruit on a platter. One morning the scrambled eggs ran out at 9.15sm. They did not replenish. The staff struggled to keep the breakfast buffet replenished
The bedrooms are very basic, compared to other 3 star properties I stayed in during my trip to Argentina. The bathroom, very small and cramp. The room is dark and bedside lightening needs serious attention. No lounge to sit in yo have a drink or read a book.
The positive part is the location, with walking distance to everything downtown. But, the hotel is extremely noisy! You can hear everyone taking a shower and use the bathroom, and it sounded like people were coming in to my room when they entered the neighboring rooms! The room is spacious and clean, but bathroom is old and moldy. Breakfast is very limited. Would not come back.
Nice hotel and room. Located on quiet street within walking distance of many popular places to see. Staff at front desk not very helpful (did not get safe working after complaining for several days).
Breakfast was really nice. It would be even better if they had any egg option. Location is amazing for sightseeing and for connecting to metro or busses. Enough room for both suitcases to be opened at the same time. Cleaning was through and items replenished on time.
Plugs - not enough of them, they are loose and only support Argentinian plugs where most other locations in the city support Argentine and European plugs on the same plug point.
Location was decent. Great price.
Breakfast. Desk staff booked taxi for tour to wrong location. Cost us $$$$ & we almost missed cruise. They would not cover expense for their mistake. Staff did not tell us we couldn't get back to hotel on National Holiday. Roads closed for protests. Couldn't get taxi to airport for flight home. Finally one nice staffer escorted us & our luggage through throngs to get a taxi outside of area. A stressful, exhausting, dangerous mess.
Nice location, friendly staff, good value, recommend!
Spacious room, location close to Central area.
The elevators were not the most efficient. Tried taking the steps, but no signs of what floor you were on.
Simple business hotel, has everything one needs. The location was good, many places in the city are easily reachable on foot or by bus.
The breakfast was decent, but did not have any vegetables. Though that is quite common in Argentina. At least the breakfast here had fruits, which is rare.
Included breakfast. Good location close to the main square (close walking distances) and also near AEP airport (short uber ride). Good price.
Breakfast was OK but not great. Could have used a bit more protien vs. carbs. Room was simple. Bed was OK but not the most comfortable we've experienced.
Bed was really comfortable, we slept great. The room was clean and comfortable, the air conditioning worked fine. It made some noise but that's normal. Breakfast simple but still with a good mix. bread, cheese, jamon, pastries, cereals, yogurt, and some fresh fruit. Coffee of course.
The bathroom had no ventilation at all. You can see the damage this moisture is doing over time. It makes the bathroom not possible to fully clean, so it looked a bit bad around the edges. It's a shame because the rest of the stay was great!
Position Friendly helpful front desk staff
No refrigerator in room- no ice available No English TV channels
The room was very quiet. My room faced on to a light well, away from the front and I could not hear any street noise or any noise from other rooms. The air-conditioning made a little noise when on but easily ignored. The bed was comfortable. The location was excellent, only a 150m walk from Ave de Mayo and only a bit further to Plaza de Mayo.Access to wifi was good throughout the hotel. The staff were helpful.
There was nothing to dislike but one comment is the shower recess floor was showing its age.
Location is okay, not perfect but it is close enough to a walk to many places worth to visit nearby.
Air condition doesn't work properly, also it's too noisy. Nothing in the room,no coffee, tea, water. No fridge also.
