Cons -
- I had requested the reception's help in booking a day-trip to a farm in Las Pampas. The man who received our request seemed exasperated that I did not speak Spanish well and did nothing, citing that he did not understand my request. Unprofessional.
- The check-in process was extremely slow.
- Breakfast poor. Small coffe cup. One waitress black or from Venezuela very rude and unfriendly

Big room and also the breakfast was great
The bathroom is too small and had no view.
They extended my check out at no cost due to my taxi coming one hour later, this was very considerate from the hotel staff. The room/apartment was modern, big, clean and comfortable. Location is superb. Staff friendly and accommodating.
The entrance door requires sound and light insulation. The lifts are quite small.
Very friendly and helpfull staff. Small lifts with old door type. If a guest forgets to close it on a floor, it gets stuck there and others will have to take the stairs. Otherwise a nice small hotel with good value for money.
Good breakfast, lovely staff, nice quiet area. Great communication for, eg arranging airport pickup.
Good location, friendly staff
The elevators are with problematic doors
Huge room great breakfast excellent for a short stay. Reception staff very helpful have us extended check out time when had problems with our flight.
Nothing it was ideal for us
Friendly hotel staffGreat locationAircon Clean bathroom
Breakfast staff at the cafe where it is served are hostile. Breakfast is minimal and consists of boiled eggs, ham, cheese, a basic fruit salad, basic bread and tea/coffee.
I enjoyed my stay but still fighting with the fact that the pictures have nothing to do with reality. We had two rooms. Our rooms are visible on the last pictures in the profile but they are still photoshopped. I looked up in many rooms walking through the corridor and I didn’t see one room like on pictures. The hotel is outdated. But still I have a very positive feedback. The rooms are spacious and great cleaned (spotless!). The bed is comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Location is great as it is a quiet street and walkable to many sights in BA. The breakfast is also not as present on the pictures. It is very limited and every day the same but the products are tasty.
Liked the registration desk staff, especially chatting with Daniel. Loved the excellent hot and varied breakfast served at the Cafe next door, which evidently contracts with the hotel to serve breakfast. The breakfast was really good, with scrambled eggs, pastries, sweet breads, bread for toast, fruit salad, yogurt and more. The hotel room was bigger than we had thought and there is a safe that we used, and a sizeable refrigerator that we also used.
The pictures on booking.com made me think that the breakfast room, which is at a separate cafe next door, was actually a hotel lounge and breakfast area. It is not and is only for hotel guests to eat breakfast. Otherwise one cannot hang out in the cafe unless one is a paying customer; I asked the cafe about that. There is no hotel lounge area. We had to hang out in our room after hours, or at the local ice cream shop to play cards.
The staff were very friendly and breakfast was great. The room was very comfortable and felt like home.
No complaints. Had a great stay.
Convenient location with a good spread of local restaurants. Easy access to the local airport with a taxi. Hotel is good with very helpful staff. There’s also a laundry within 200m . Would stay there again.
Nothing much
We were able to check in early which was greatly appreciated. The room was clean and very comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Not much
This is at best, a 3-star hotel. We booked it believing that it was in the Recoleta area, however it was a very long walk to and from the Recoleta. We paid for a superior room, expecting a much nicer experience. The bathroom is very much in need of a renovation. It would have been acceptable if we were expecting a 3-star hotel. The price was high for the quality of the property.
Unlike the first place I stayed in Buenos Aires that was a 2 star rated a 4 star, Hotel Arenales was a 4.5 star rated as a 3 star., from my perspective. Seemingly new fixtures, great bed, quiet neighborhood, very clean, great staff. The included breakfast was served next door in a modern cafe with a substantial selection of food.
Very friendly staff, great location, very comfortable room, quiet
Price is a bit high, more kitchen appliances in the room for tea
Location was great, and it was a fantastic spacious room. Breakfast very nice.
hotel is super close of most of touristic and businesses centers. Wifi works well, staff is super gentle and room is clean.
everything was good
