Gorgeous garden, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, safe neighborhood

Gym lacked equipment but I used online workouts so enjoyed having the space to do so

The hotel was in a great location and beautiful but the rooms themselves were extremely small and dated.

Rooms need to be updated and should include a safe for personal items. They do offer lock boxes behind the front desk. Other than that I was pleased.

Excellent location, with a lot of sights walkable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities somewhat dated and maybe not necessarily what you would expect of a modern 4 star hotel, but okay for the price.

Terrible room, terrible bed, looks NOTHINg like the online photos. Not a great or safe location either.

The hotel is old, but recently renovated and is very nice. Both the common areas and the rooms are very clean. The breakfast is good. The location is excellent; we walked to almost everything in the tourist spots (Porto Madero, Casa Rosada, etc.). We also easily got around by subway, which has a station nearby. There are several wine shops nearby, where we bought inexpensive wines to bring back to Brazil.

Because it's downtown and on a single-lane street, traffic getting to and from the hotel is more complicated. So consider this if you have appointments elsewhere, so you can leave as early as possible. Don't just consider the average time or distance.

Good value for money, very simple room, relatively big, satisfactory for 50 USD

No amenities, enough for sleeping, no chair in the room, only a small footstool

Staff were helpful, but struggled to provide details on where things were that tourists need. I asked for a convenience store, was told there wasn’t really any - there were 2 directly across the road and a Carrefour very close by - must just be lost in translation. Similarly I asked for where I could get a massage, and the staff did a google search, but I think if you’re in the hotel game you have a list of providers that you refer to to help your clients. Was just a bit lacking in this area.

Good location, liked the doorman for sense of security in daytime (more in cons section), good breakfast

The fitness room/sauna is ALWAYS locked. Hours are not posted and looked small. False misleading advertising. Security guard left around 530-6 pm and arrived around 8 am. Pretty sure most crimes or times where it is most dangerous are AT NIGHT. Locks were reset after housekeeping each day. I came back and found my key didn't work. Not a big deal, but it's a hassle.
