Sofitel Buenos Aires Recoleta

Location, cleanliness, style, gimnasium and the covered pool

we rebocked, for 3 more nights ( of 6 Total) a jacket was missing, hotel staff was very rude and clear about it could not happen until it was founded. Communication very poor didnot know if breackfast was included,so we only take 1 of a 6 day stay

The Sofitel excelled in service the great restaurant & bar & the lovely warm service from the staff. The location across from the Shopping complex was just ideal. A swim in the pool was a must! Highly recommened & would return here first!

Asked for bath robes they didn’t give it for five days after multiple asking

Staff were attentive and always willing to help. All employees we encountered spoke English and Spanish which was amazing. Our room was cleaned daily and they did a great job. They also brought tea and chocolates daily to our room alongside more water or towels as needed. There were cookies upon arrival which was a nice touch. All water and sodas, tea, coffee in the room was free. Bed was also very comfortable and we had a shower and bathtub. They also give a free drink at the bar during your stay! Always a bonus.

Bar inside the hotel opens around 5pm and closes at 1130pm, which is early for Argentina. It would be great if the hotel bar had longer opening hours. The drinks are great and staff are friendly so it's a shame it's not open longer.

Hotel is in a nice neighbourhood. Breakfast was very nice.

If you have a front / street facing room on a lower level it is very noisy. The lighting in the rooms is very dim, a main overhead light would be good.

Very good breakfast. Good location.

I believe that a rate price/quality is very high in comparison with other Buenos-Aires hotels.

The concierge at the hotel was fantastic. He was so helpful. We arrived early and our room was ready. The entire staff was fantastic!!

Location. Front desk, concierge outstanding.

Room cleaning was inconsistent day to day. One day wash clothes and water -one day not. Not always attention to detail like refilling tissue box.

Rooms are getting a big tired, and bar is kind a night club, doesn’t fit the clientele of the hotel

The breakfast had something for everyone. All the products offered were fresh and of excellent quality. Above all, what I liked was the courtesy, friendliness, and the sincere desire of the employees to provide you with a great service and to make you feel special.

There was nothing I disliked about this hotel.

Very very nice hotel. Modern, clean, staff friendly and kind; very polite. Fabulous food from the restaurant (both breakfast and supper tried). RoomCleaning standards were exceptional.

Terrible bathroom hard to go to the toilet if you are 6.3” toilet 1 each from wall and shower glass right in your face. lighting switches in room useless very poor layout.
