474 Buenos Aires Hotel

For the price, excellent, nice helpful staff, great breakfast, my only complaint was the shower had black dirt mold ??? in the corners. Everything else was perfect.

Very helpful and friendly staff and convenient location. Room was well-kept and comfortable.

This was my third time staying at 474 Buenos Aires Hotel, and it is still a very nice place to stay. The staff may have changed, but they are still really friendly and very helpful. Stayed in a smaller room this trip, but it was clean and comfortable with plenty of room in the main area. The gym option provided at the local YMCA is just one block away, and is not bad at all. There are many dining, entertainment and transportation options within walking distance.

The bathroom in the smaller room seems a little cramped, but was not impossible to deal with.

Great and very friendly staff. Close to town. Good breakfast. Highly recommended for all travelers.

The refrigerator is a little old.

The breakfast was excellent, the water pressure in the shower was superb, and the location, in my opinion, couldn’t be better.

The walls are somewhat poorly soundproofed. You can’t hear anything from outside, but we were literally asked to keep it down for watching TikTok at low volume — and it was only 11 p.m.

Staff is nice & rooms comfy and clean

Thin walls -> lot of noise from the family next door. They charged me 100$ (usd) for laundry (3 pieces) -> this was the most expensive laundry in my life. In patagonia (with lack of water in general) I payed about 30$ for full bag of clothes in much better hotel. Check-in issues -> they apparently need credit cards (no debit) in order to charge you. Never had such issues in 10 years of traveling (not even in Argentina)

Very central location. Many restaurants and cambio are nearby. The room is big and clean, and the beds are comfortable.

Very comfortable bed and shower. Friendly staff. Location is very central, takes a while to work it out but actually after a few days I realised it was a great location for exploring all the popular barrios and tourist attractions.

Breakfast was not great. After first few days went out for coffee.

Close to Florida metro and bus stops, close to tourist street, relatively safe at night , spacious room, great staff, I like to have openable windows in my room, fridge inside the room( not a common thing in Chile)

Renovation has become dated.

The carpet on the floor was dirty (i could see it in my babys legs/feet when crawling) and the minibar had fungus. The hotel only accepts pesos even though Booking.com said I will be charge in USD. Finally, and due to our bank, we ended paying much more than the price expected. But I suppose this is not the hotels fault.

Location in the heart of downtown Buenos Aires is hard to beat. The hotel is on a quieter street - so it's not noisy at night - but you are still close to lots of restaurants, shops, supermarkets, attractions, etc. The breakfast is decent with fruit, pastries, juices, and hot meals (eggs, fried rice, empanadas, etc.). Internet works great. Bed is comfortable. Hot water in shower. A/C works well. Staff is very friendly.

There are not many amenities available. The gym is a separate facility that the hotel will give you a pass to access. Lobby is small (and gets noisy). There's nowhere else to go besides breakfast restaurant floor, lobby, and bedroom. No place to work or hang out in the hotel besides the bedroom and lobby.

Oh my God, the bed and shower were both so fantastic. The room was insanely clean. Did I mention that the shower is fantastic? And the bed? It was fantastic too! The staff was very helpful and the property was located in a great position downtown. There was street noise during the day as to be expected in the center of Buenos Aires. At night things dramatically, calm down and the streets were pretty much empty. I had a great three day experience there.

Breakfast was limited but good spread and I liked it. However, omelets and Cappuccino was paid. They had only black coffee and milk separate as part of free breakfast.

No complementary water bottles in the room very day. I stayed for 5 days but was given only one bottle for the first day that's all.
